I’m eating the Hainan chicken rice now and had to stop to write this bc it’s so good. Their version of this comes with perfectly seasoned steamed rice, some pickled cabbage/carrots, the poached chicken and two kinds of ginger based condiments. Their chicken had a little sesame drizzle on top which I never tried before but is a very nice compliment. Just a very well done version of a classic - I highly recommend stopping by here if you’re in the area. It’s a little hidden in the corner of the lot.
Best Chinese food! Always great service from Emily ?
2nd time customer. When we arrived there were 3 of us & we got 1 menu. When I asked for 2 more, had to wait 10 minutes. With 1st visit ordered the sweet & sour soup. Too salty. Told the owner & she said to mention it with next visit. Cup of tea $1.50. 2nd visit mentioned the soup too salty, when we got it, it was watery as if it was watered down to remove the salt. Tea was $1.75. Ordered the orange chicken & instead of it being individual pieces of chicken, it was in clumps. Our total was $57. Then she comes to our table demanding tip. Tip is not an obligation if you are not please.
I'd give them 5 stars because they're so nice and the food is delicious but they keep changing the prices and they don't post them so it feels like they're scamming you. Food is very flavorful and cooked fresh.
First time customer. The BEST Chinese food in the area. We had orange chicken, sweet and sour pork chop, house friend rice and chicken chow mien. All excellent. Priced right for quality and quantity of food.
I come to Cocoin Kitchen alot. I used to order thier Red Braised Pork Belly (Hong Shao Rou) with Steamed Jasmine White Rice, Mustard Cabbage and preserved vegetables with another Brasied Pork Belly (May Chai Cou Rou) their Shrimp Chow Mein, Chicken Chow Mein and Beef Chow Mein were very good too. They have sriracha sauce here and they may offer you hot or warm tea if you request them to and warm/hot water rather than cold water with ice cubes here. They do give to go and take out with lunch boxes (Bien Dang) here.
The French style filet mignon is something I always crave. They have the best service, clean, and everyone who works there are very nice. A small business that I will forever support.
It's a local go to for Chinese take out. Never disappointed. Quick service
