My friends loved boiling point, im not a big fan tho.A lot of choices for single person hotpot, dont try their super spicy one unless ur good with spicy.My frined always order it and cant finish it??.Good place to eat when its cold.
I ordered large seafood hot pot and shared it with my mom. The size was just right for the both of us. It came with a drink, you can choose from green or black iced tea. The soup was so good, our seafood hot pot comes with octopus, 2 shrimps, clams, fish ball, fish fillet, vegetables and thin slices of pork meat.
I really like boiling point, the service kinda sucks been trying to pay for 30 min and keep having to go and ask the workers over and over. also asked to take the left overs togo but they forgot. but over all very nice place.ps. placed a togo order, they brought it out and forgot it was for togo so had to take it back ;-;
I would not recommend this place. The restaurant has poor service, poor quality food, and poor cleanliness. To start, I came in with my family and asked them to bring menus for each of us since not every one has smartphones to see the menu online. They gave us one menu and expected us to share between all of us. Asking them for additional menus for some reason seemed to offend them so we had to go up and them ourselves. I would like to add that we've never been to Boiling Point before so we had questions about their dishes. The first server stated that the soups are different and to look at the picture, but we didn't know what was in the pictures, so we asked the server to explain the differences. Even though the restaurant was quiet, she seemed impatient. When we ordered our food, they gave us dirty bowls and utensils. The bowl has pieces of rice, and the spoons had a sticky residue on it. Since we came in before 3:00 P.M., they offer a free drink, but I saw on the menu you could upgrade to a large for $1. I asked them to show me the cups so I would know the difference between the regular and the large and instead she told me to look around and see the sizes when people ordered. I don't find that acceptable. Lastly when they brought out the noodles on the side in a small plate, every thing was on one plate so I wasn't sure if each person would get their own plate or if we would split the noodles between every one so I kindly asked the server Tiffany if the noodles were to be split between every one or if we would get more noodles and her response was "You don't know what you ordered? Noodle and rice!" I told her I understood but didn't know if the plate she gave to us was a serving for one of us or all. So her response was "It's for all you, before order, understand what you order or want first. Ok?!" Well, that wasn't satisfying at all but we're here to try some new food so I was excited when they brought out the food, until I had a taste of it. Personally, I found it all disappointing. The soup had a strange smell to it and was covered in white fat floating around. The soup was not up to par with what I have had in mind, and at this point nothing was going as planned. The service was horrible, the dishes weren't properly cleaned, the food wasn't amazing, and every thing was over priced in my opinion.

AWFUL SERVICE!!! The staff called William At this location (2020 S Hacienda Blvd, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745) refused to change my set of sauce into one type while all the other locations do all the time like Pasadena and Arcadia. He told me that they never do this which they did every time I ordered there and all their customers mix three types of their sauce together to go with their hot pot which is unconvincing. And I told him I’ve been their customer for more than 5 years. They always change the sauce for my takeout order. YOU KNOW WHAT?? He asked me to show him the photo proof of the sauce the other locations changed for me . This is not how you treat your loyal customers!!!
Cynthia the lady who works there must be the most professional/polite waitresses I have even seen. Although the food is ok, just like any other boiling point.
Extremely unprofessional staff. Don't get me wrong, they got great food, it's the service that messd up their rating. They seem to not understand the priority. Spent too much unnecessary time to take care of take out order and ignored the eat in customers.
My favorite place to eat at any time of the day. Always worth the wait! Food comes out fast. Staff could be a little more attentive. But still love overall.
Food may be good but service is terrible. 30 minute wait for them to take our order and we had to inform them we were waiting for our order. They are more focused on making Pickup orders than their customers.
