Food is really good. I have tried the tacos, enchiladas, chilaquiles and ceviche and it was pretty good. The tortilla soup was just okay, the chicken had a weird texture.I recommend the micheladas too.
There good the have a variety of salsas and sauces I like there al pastor nice little family owed taco and burrito place and much more try you'll like it !
Really good Mexican food. Take out orders are quick. Lots of parking, and not too busy if you want to dine in.
Si, por favor! Ordered the molcajete and it is fantastic. Stuffed with nopales, camerones, and a variety of meats cooked to perfection. Priced very reasonably and I can't wait to try their michelada once they get their liquor license. This is *authentic* Mexican food (although they serve mendudo 7 days/week, not just Sundays).

Taqueria El Gaban slaps. They do what the other taquerias do, but better and cheaper. they have authentic stuff like Buche, Lengua, and Tripitas. Also if you dig on shrimp, this is your spot. My favorite is the chorizo and eggs breakfast plate for under $10 that comes with enough food to eat for an entire day. no fancy deserts, but they do have an awesome churro that I get with almost any order I make. They just need a few more bev options to get a perfect 10 from me. if you haven't checked them out yet go support this business setting the high bar for Mexican cuisine in Grass Valley.
For months the order is always wrong, and I mean always. The meat they use for carne asada is cheap and still charge for what they're supposed to use. The food is never considentent. NEVER coming here again! I'll go to El taco feliz from San Jose at the car wash for REAL Mexican food ??♀️
Great fresh made, thin and crispy chips. They have a salsa bar, good stuff! I ordered an enchilada and taco plate. I'm always disappointed when the enchiladas only have meat inside, no cheese. This was also how they serve their enchiladas. The meat was good, beans and rice we're good. They don't have a liquor license yet so no beer for you! (Yet). Service was quick, even with them being non stop busy. They had a ton of Togo orders happening while we sat and dined in. I'll be back!
Fantastic food all around. Massive burritos and chimichangas. Love this place. Much better than other local Mexican food restaurants. Staff have even gone out of their way for me.
They always get the order right and if they happen to mess it up they make sure it is absolutely right and usually will just come up the entire meal. Amazing owner always have the smile very upbeat and for the price it beats McDonald's or any other restaurant in town.
