WE SPENT $50 ON A SMALL PIZZA AND TWO BEERS!!!!!!!!The part that was really surprising was the fact that they add on a 15% tip that they call a service fee. Many people do NOT know they do this so they tip as usual.Tips are supposed to REWARD excellent customer service. When restaurants add on a tip automatically the customer service is the worst.

Recently went to try this place for the first time. I had seen that they were running a deal on slices on Mondays so decided that would be a good day to walk into town and try.We ordered our slices after a brief wait and went to sit outside. We noticed then that they had charged us full price instead of the promotional deal. When we went inside to address this issue their waitress mentioned she hadn’t heard of any such deal, “I’ve only been here a week.”The man she grabbed was really helpful and rectified the problem, mentioning that they in fact did have a deal on Monday and then re-rung us up with a correct bill. The previous bill charge will take six days to come back to my account. This was all fine and good, we understand this happens especially with staffing issues. What I don’t understand is how, on a night you specify that you a running a deal on slices, can two slices of pepperoni pizza take 45 minutes to prepare. It’s a pizza place and it takes 45 minutes for a slice on a Monday night. I just don’t understand how that happens. The pizza itself was just alright, I liked the sauce but the cheese was kinda lackluster compared to a more standard NY slice.Kinda a bummer considering they’re two blocks walk from my house but considering the lackluster service I’ll probably try other options and give them a shot once things get fixed up.

We ate here (my husband, myself, and our two boys) and were very disappointed. We ordered a 14-inch pizza, wings, and chicken strips. The pizza was sub-par, wings were so-so, and chicken strips were dry. The worst part is, the "waitress" that was supposed to be helping us was more interested in talking to another customer about where to buy some pot after work than she was about helping us with our food. All we needed was a water refill, some ketchup, and more ranch, and I had to stand there and wait for her to finish her conversation about her marijuana fix before I could get any help. We also had to wait 45 minutes to get our food. After paying $64 for horrible service and bland food, I would definitely not recommend this restaurant; unless you are only there for alcoholic beverages.

Rotating beer selection frequently introduces me to new favorites. Kudos to whomever is on charge of that! I've been coming here for years and love their pizza but I wish they hadn't removed a few items from their menu. You used to be able to order some of the off-menu pizzas but last time I tried, they said they don't do it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love everything on the menu, but a little more variety would be appreciated.Be prepared for a bit of a wait but don't think you need to order two slices. A single "slice" is two and they're huge!

Stopped by here last night, and the entire experience was regrettable. First of all, the pizza was subpar and particularly expensive. Secondly, the service was terrible. Service is slow and neglectful with staff and customers laud over craft beers on tap with taste tests. When we ordered our pizza, we were told it'd be brought out to us in our car while we waiting with our daughter. Twenty minutes later, the female staff member that promised to help us comes out the door and meanders down the street with nothing in her hands. I get out the car and go inside, and after waiting for taste tests again, was told our pizza had been ready for some time, and they just pulled it out of a warmer. Won't be coming again.

Be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get a slice of pizza. Nearly missed my movie the first time i came here, luckily i had all evening the second time. Won’t come back.Go to the Pizza Joint instead.

Bummer cause the pizza is good, but the wait every time is 30-45 minutes , for a couple slices of pizza. This wait doesn’t make the slice worth it. Even the employees are muttering under their breath frustrated by the long waits and the impatient customers. Multiple times I have been other customers cancelled their order cause it was taking more than 30 minutes for a slice of pizza. Not down.

I’ve tried Pete’s 3 or 4 times now since I moved to the area and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s just not a place I want to take my business anymore. The beer selection is good and the indoor/outdoor space is cool. The pizza is subpar though. Pizza joint blows this pizza out of the water. Do not get the wings, if you want good wings Jernigan’s has the best wings in the area. The sauce/ flavor just isn’t right and I know the quality of ingredients is not high. Overall I feel this place appears to be something it is not from the outside. I would like to see our downtown grass valley pizza restaurant step it up in a major way.

I’ve tried to like this place but after today I will not go back. On more than one occasion part of our meals arrive 10 or more minutes before the rest of the family gets theirs. The waitress tonight was incredibly inept. She plopped our food on the table, never asking who got what, never said a word…..not one word to us. We needed salt, pepper and ketchup and literally had to wave her down to get her attention. Not going back.

Chill spot for grub and brew. One of the best in town along with Thirsty Barrell. Ranch it up ???
