I ordered a Chimichanga with Pork in green sauce. At first I thought Wow it's heavy and thought this is Great! When I cut into it all I found was Rice and it must have been a whole pan full of rice I know there must have been beans in there but I couldn't find it because there was so much rice. There was maybe 4 pieces of pork and the whole thing was full of red sauce! Red sauce really makes my stomach sick so I couldn't even eat it. Almost $24 dollars this Sasquatch of rice cost me! I am very disappointed I just had Knee surgery a few days ago and I cannot drive AT ALL and I live alone and being stuck in bed I can't even cook right now I can't grocery shop so there is nothing in the house to eat. Thank you Maya's I won't be spending my money there ever again! What a sad state of affairs!!!

This place is simply one of the best Mexican restaurants. I absolutely love it.

We have been to this restaurant 2 times. The first time my husband ordered Chili Colorado and they did not have any and I ordered Chili Verde (so he substituted a Burrito) The second time, he ordered Chili Colorado and I ordered Chili Verde. After seating the waitress brought out 2 Chili Verdes and told us that they were out of Chili Colorado (4pm on a Saturday night). He had never tried Chili Verde, so I offered him a taste from my plate and it was too spicy for him and ordered a Burrito. I waited for his meal to arrive and took a taste of the Chili Colorado and it was so spicy I could not swallow it. I advised the waitress to inform the cook so it could be possibly adjusted for another patron and substituted, 2 fish tacos. The fish was not cook and was like jelly in the middle. I informed the waitress, sent it back to the kitchen and ate the other half of the Burrito. We asked for a refund for the difference between a $17 Chili Colorado and the $17 Chili Colorado and to charge us for 2 bottles of beer and one Burrito ($12).. The waitress offered a discount on a future meal and we had already decided that we would not return. So 2 beers and one burrito cost $47.00.+. We will not return. I have never sent back a meal in the last 40 years.

Terrible. Made it clear that I was looking for a vegetarian dish, and the two staff people made that very confusing. Then when the food came out, it was not vegetarian/not what I ordered. When they remade it and I started eating, I realized they had put the hot food into the styrofoam container, which had melted into the food. Could taste the plastic and felt sick. Generally also just terrible that they’re using styrofoam in 2021. The chip and salsa bar was the only good part of this experience. I will not be going back.

Mmmmm. Share the mixed ceviche with avocados and cucumbers. It's outstanding.
