If you like Denny's, you might like this place, but I think Denny's at least avoids making bad food.Certainly avoid any dish with buscuits and gravy. You could glue your wood projects with their sticky gravy, that tastes like salty glue. Yuck.Shouldn't order things like eggs Benedict at a place like this, but one of us tried it and completely terrible. Runny eggs, and I mean really runny, with uncooked muffin, and sour sauce. Inedible.Conversely, the omelet was overcooked.........Really nice staff, but food is awful.Oh, and picked up shirt stains from the dirty edge of the table when we sat down.
Food was good, but our orders were horribly messed up. Two of our orders somehow didn't get made. The first one was realized when plates were delivered, and they came to check with us to let us know it was in works and I mentioned were were still missing another one. Our waitress did not seem very friendly. Maybe she was having a bad which I get. Will probably give it another chance some other time and just see if we hit it on a bad day.
Lumberjacks really struck me as a rebranded Dennys. I felt the food was ok but nothing special, very basic. The service was a bit slow, taking about 30 mins to get our entree. What was truly disappointing was the working atmosphere of the place. I heard the waitress snap at a couple next to us for asking how much longer their food would be, and then the receptionist berate the busser for something. Not sure why their is such a toxic environment there, but they don't hide it well.Appetizer: Cheese SticksEntrees: (1) Logger's Breakfast Burrito (2) Lumberjack's Two-egg ClassicAtmosphere/Decor: Denny's/IHOP feel with lumberjack decorServer Attentiveness: Slow, minal serviceFood Wait: Slower than averageCost/Value: $13-14 per entree
Delicious home cooking style food. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I have had the breakfast on multiple occasions and lunch on a few.. never disappointed!
Visited for breakfast while traveling. Food was very tasty. The ham steak had a wonderful smoky flavor. Bacon cooked just right. It was pricy - 40 bucks for 2 for breakfast but I have a feeling that's the sign of the times.
Nothing fancy, but that's not what Lumberjacks is about. Great brunch spot!
Nothing is great, but you shouldn't go to Lumberjacks expecting greatness.
The food is worth the wait..the lady that took our orders and served the food is very friendly...the restroom is also clean.
Just what you would expect... giant portions and classic diner quality food. The service is friendly and accommodating.
I'm happy to say this Lumberjack's has greatly improved. I hadn't been back for several years and was pleasantly surprised today. I had the sourdough burger with fries and a dinner salad w/ ranch, and it was all cooked, presented, and tasted very good. Service was good and restaurant was clean. Five stars for what it's trying to be: a good family-orientated place to eat. Pro'ly should be four stars because the craptastic Garth Brooks' satellite radio channel was too loud, but whatever; at least it played an Olivia Rodrigo song while we were there.
