Ordered a taco bar for 25 people for a party April 30. I worked with the manager via text to make sure everything was set. We showed up at the scheduled time to pick up our order and we’re told they needed a couple mins. That turned into more then a 40 min delay. I didn’t receive chips or salsa for my 30 guests. A $400 order and they never even got back to me after the fact when I texted to apologize for the excessive delay or missing food. Don’t bother with this place! Go to Maria’s. I wish I had ordered catering through them. Never ever El Favorito again. If only they had messaged me back they could’ve avoided the one star review.

Last time I ordered a quesadilla, they are super small and have bell peppers and stuff in it that’s not on the menu. Today I got tacos to play it safe and I thought it was weird they gave me forks with them. Turns out I need the forks because the tacos are soggy and the tortillas fall apart. I only ate half a taco before throwing them away.

LThe past two weeks it seems the quality has gone downhill. The carne asada is super dry and has lots of crunchy pieces, the potatoes when I got the California burrito were undercooked and hard and today the beans were watery and unflavored. I definitely won’t be returning for awhile because once you have a couple bad times in a row it’s hard to want to try again. he past two weeks it seems the quality has gone downhill. Also it appears the contact form on your website doesn’t work.

The chips???? Eeeewww! Taste like every hippie potluck I've been to q grande Mie!?$##. The nachos have authentic house made chips though...ps everything else is good

Beans and rice good but the fish tacos...saddest fish tacos I ever ordered... for $3 each...They asked me if I waned everything on it and I say yes. When I open my plate I see 2 small taco with wet oily fish, lettuce, and some sauce on top. No cheese, no cabbage, no cilantro, no avocado, no tomatoes, nothing

Everything I've eaten here with my family has been authentic and excellent. The salsa bar with grilled jalapenos is a great addition. Their flan dessert is also excellent. You'd have to go down to baja or coastal Mexico to get anything better. Their traditional style Molcajete will easily serve 2 hungry people. Will continue to visit this small but excellent taqueria.

I dont give 5 stars, but this place deserves it. Great food, great prices, and wow do they keep this place clean. If you like Mexican food you won't be sorry.

First time coming here. Ordered a beef and cheese soft taco, cheese quesadilla and soda. The taco was the size of a beverage coasterThe quesadilla was smaller than the paper plate and staleTortilla chips VERY staleDog would not even eat the "beef" and my dog eats carpet.Soda was heavy on the C02 and needed to have the syrup replacedThrew the food away as it was inedible

Good Mexican food. Large portions and reasonable prices. Perhaps the best Mexican food in Nevada County. I'd recommend it.

I ordered the Flan and it was the best I’ve had in a really long time, I can’t wait to try some other items
