I do not have the words in this language or any other, to describe how bad Maria's is. Setting aside the nonsense that is the restaurant coalition and my distaste for it, Maria's Cantina is --- bar none -- the worst restaurant in this town. The food is straight off a Sysco truck and into the freezer, then microwaved for your plate. It is as cheap as possible to make and STILL priced in the Chili's/TGIF range. My guess is that this is to make the people who eat there feel fancy for going out. That's this place's whole vibe: cater to people who don't know what flavors are and hope their pallets have been so saturated with free chips and salsa they don't take their eyes off the "quaint" decor long enough to notice they're paying $15 for a gas station burrito. The worst kind of people prefer Maria's. I hope, if you're visiting town, you are not one of them. Steer clear. You'd be better off going to Taco Bell (or, if you actually like your Mexican food to taste good, EL Mercado off Highway 49 in Auburn)
Great salsa chips guacamole....love their burritos.....very yummy cheesy and great House frozen Margaritas!
Their salsa is fresh & always delicious. I've never had anything that I didn't like. Pretty good variety of food & margaritas. Big variety of tequila!
