Formerly a family style Mexican restaurant that is now a Mexican style Italian restaurant. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the smell. The overpowering odor of bleach and a bathroom issue gone wrong smacks you in the face. The bar sounded like the Spring Break trip to Cancun that you regret ever taking and was very loud...great for the "Bar" part of the name but not for a meal. The wait staff was pleasant and competent but the service was slow. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. Globs of cheese on the salads, meat sauce that tastes like it came from a can and garlic bread that one can only assume was intended to be garlic bread. Some of the nastiest food ever.Again, kudos to the wait staff for being one of the only shinning lights to this place...other than the exit door.
Normally and willingly I say great things about places as the one in topic, waited nearly 20 minutes and nobody came to my table, I called the restaurant from within to get someone to take my order, I’m not too much of a critic. However being the is Friday all their focus is at patrons at the bar.I feel there is no communication between hostess (if there is 1) and the servers.Food is great not critiquing their food, but their service…..I know I’m not buying alcoholic drinks but I’m still spending money here.
I came to this place because someone recommended it. The food is alright, but on the day that I went when I asked for a box to go, the waitress gave me a pizza box. The moment we open the box a roach comes out crawling. To my surprise, there were another two (old), dead, baby roaches inside the box. While I understand that this does happen (kinda gross tho), the attitude and response I got from management was outrageous. The waitress pretty much dismissed my complaint about roaches stating that she will make me a new pizza and offered me a 25% discount. That nice, but I wanted to make sure the manager knew about this. As I approach the manager he ignores me completely and walks away, almost as if he knew I was gonna complain. As we were exiting, he comes out and asks me in another language if everything was okay. As I am explaining, he appeared in a rush And simply stated, that was weird and that it had never happened. He then walks away.Is not about the roaches, is more about their whole dismissal of the fact that a live roach was in the box and then giving me attitude as if I was to blame for my disgust. I probably wont come here again. The health department should check them out.
My new favourite place! Word is the pizza is fantastic... it IS! Word is the margarita is fantastic... It IS! Service... A++ 5 StarsForgot to take a photo of the pizza. I sure wish I would have! Got the margarita though! LOL!Will be trying the chicken wings next time!
Chicken Picatta, spaghetti, pizza's, veggies with a buttery sauce, salads...,. I was very impressed with their choice of menu items for our private family function. The staff is very professional, tables cleared in a timely fashion, not a single complaint from any of our 90+ family/friends. I'm the type of eater that feels it a waste of food to eat if my first entree is a ?. Needless to say, although I did not finish everything on my plate (which was piled high by my uncle), I ate some of everything. The spaghetti didn't have a chance the chicken was hardly recognizable. It was a massacre....in other words the food was prepared spot on. I've had spaghetti at other eateries but not like this. This is of course my opinion but I do recommend you try Caruso's once. You won't be disappointed. Buon appetito!!
Food is good, especially the pizza. Very yummy. Unfortunately, there's one waitress that never seems to wear mask correctly. Last 3 times it's always down below her nose and mouth. Apparently, the other people that work there follow the rules. She's kinda of sloppy looking and it does not give a feeling of cleanliness to the restaurant.
This restaurant is the worst the food is gross n the service is horrible never ever go there. We will never again the waitress are so rude.
We had alot of fun good music drinks were ok not the best but got the job done ordered cadillac margaritas and pizza appetizers calamari ill definitely return
Great spot for enjoying a meal, or hang out in the bar for drinks and football. Plenty of screens, and can also eat in the bar area. Low point, sometimes service is slow, no fault of servers.
The food is above average but the service is terrible. In their defense, they seem to be short-handed so the servers are always rushing around trying to take care of too many tables. The gentleman with the light-colored hair (manager or owner) has to help the servers which is fine but he probably does not like to since he seems to be in a bad mood the times I was there. I hope they get more help soon because like I said, the food is good.
