Probably amongst the top 5 burgers I ate in my life. The tender meat, the crunchy bun with fresh ingredients.The location is very historic with some very pleasant a d kind staff members. A must try when un the area

In-N-Out SB. The only one for 48.8 miles south (Ventura) and 60 miles North (Santa Maria). Basically if you've got a hankering in the tri-county area, this is it. Lots of folk seem to get that hankering at all hours of the day and night. Tonight was no different. Terrifying lines. Masses of people. Not quite mass hysteria (but close.) We pulled in and prepared ourselves for the long haul. After confirming we had extra bottles of water, we strapped in for the drive thru line that was backed into the street. We expected delays and stress only to be met with ruthess efficiency carried out by frighteningly cheerful people, for incredibly good prices. Why are they so good at what they do here? The world may never know but I will continue to brave this annoyingly perfect place to get my cheesy fries.
We were in and out cuz we parked the car and placed our order inside. The drive thru line was extremely long and there was no line inside. With gas prices as high as they are right now those people were spending a lot of $ on a burger. Plenty of parking and easy to get to right off the freeway. We ordered a double double and a cheese burger with fries and they were just as good as any other In n Out. We bought a no salt burger patty for our dog (a pup patty) cuz we were road tripping and it shows how small the burger patties really are. She ate that thing up in 3 seconds.?
A cheeseburger and shake are my go-to's at In and Out. They were all delicious but what really stood out was the service. It was a busy Sunday morning at the store opening but the young man serving us took the time to chat and make us feel welcome. We told him that we needed just one more In and Out stop before leaving CA and he then wished us safe travels. There is lots of parking and outdoor seating at this location.
Just okay food. Fun to go through the drive-thru line with friends at night when you're just trying to pass the time, but I never understood all the hype around the food. Animal fries always end up slightly soggy with the cheese still not fully melted, which is disappointing. Not a bad place to eat though, just not somewhere I would recommend going all the time.
I mean not much to say other than another clean, well put together in-n-out. Service was great as usual. Burgers are always on point. Lines for the drive thru always suck here though. Lol
