Sat at the bar last night on July 11th for a quick beer and a sandwich before heading back home. The bartender dropped me a menu & and then didn't return to take a beverage order for approximately 6 minutes... He was busy chatting with someone while I tried to get his attention. Finally got my beer and then placed my food order. My chicken sandwich was fine, cooked perfectly and the fries were great too.Because it took so long to get my first beverage I only had one and so the bartender missed an opportunity to sell another drink.I do like this place (been here at least 10x when I travel through) so I'll be back. They just need to pay more attention to every customer.

The most inviting eatery (IMHFO) in this whole shopping center. I got there (solo) JUST as they opened up for lunch, and was perhaps the 2nd party to be seated. I was in no hurry, but it was a straaaange long time before the server came out to take my order. Good and beer came out lickety split afterwards. However, same freakishly long wait for the server to swing by again. Was planning getting a 2nd beer for the 2nd half of my (better than average) Cobb Salad. But the clock ran out and I had to bounce. TO BE FAIR: The place got slammed right after I sat down. But they didn’t appear under-staffed at all. So I can’t account for getting stranded like that. Tasty (single) beer and good looking menu. Will be back if I’m walking in Goleta again.

Visited on Father's Day. It was fairly busy and looked like they were very short staffed but everyone was working very hard. Got seated quickly. My husband loved the 3 beers he tried. Food came out pretty fast and was very good - Spicy Black Bean Burger & Steak Tacos. Sitting outside and looked at what others were getting. All the food looked good and fresh. Would definitely go back!

Parking sucks but we already knew what to expect before going. There was a line and from my understanding there's always a line. It took about 20+ minutes to order, we ended up getting the patty melt dog, the elote dog and the filthy fries. I honestly wasn't a fan of the fries, I'll try something else next time. The elote dog is !!! I'll be getting that next time for sure!!! Seems to be a cool spot, I definitely recommend.

Good brews with large food portions but the food was bland

We eat here often. Vietnamese pork sandwich is my favorite.Update: I really want to still like this place, I've been coming here since they first opened and the new owner seemed to want to improve on the menu a well as the beer which did happen. However since covid the place has really gone downhill. All of the original wait staff as well as the bartenders and managers are all gone. The new chef seems to have changed every single thing. Most, if not all of the original menu favorites are completely gone if they haven't changed so much that the food is unrecognizable and the price has changed drastically. I understand costs are going up everywhere and I don't mind paying extra but I honestly haven't found a single item on the menu worth coming back for. It's unfortunate as I loved a number of items on the menu and all of them are gone. We really gave the restaurant the chance, it's been six months of coming back on a somewhat regular basis before I wrote this review. It's one of the closest places to go near our home and I love that they have a dog friendly patio (the only reason I have it a two star review) The beer seems to be a skeleton menu (which is still good) of what it used to be, they call themselves a brewery but really it's always been a restaurant that also brews beer.I'm not saying goodbye as it's one of just a few choices in our area but unless things change soon, try nearby jane or ca'dario instead. If anyone in management or ownership reads this, please improve things!!! I would hate to see this place fail completely after such a long time in business.

Beer is really good! The chili cheese nachos are pretty awesome too!

We were having a great time until my second beer arrived and the waiter accidentally placed it on a crack in the tables, causing it to spill all over my food and lap. The waiter seemed to think it was my fault and only offered to bring “half a sandwich.” The beer he had brought was also incorrect, and it was only once he saw my pants covered in beer and we asked for a new sandwich that he agreed. Would have loved to like this place but having to pay full price for the beer and sandwich negated all that. Everyone else in the party enjoyed the food.

Excellent staff, awesome beer and food. I had the Vanishing Act pale, stop in!

A great experience. I ordered the house burger and the sauce and burger were wonderful. The fries were a little salty for me, but my cousin who ordered the same item said the fries were perfect so to each their own. The head chef Jeremy was told by our waitor that we really liked the sauce on the burger and he came out and talked to us about his creation of the sauce and his experience working in the kitchen and being a chef of 20 years. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it.
