Food very good and served hot, which is a pleasant surprise these days!
Food mediocre
Unfortunately our two top was behind a large group that came off of a tour bus. But that was ok, because we were excited to experience the food. The service at this point was excellent, we were greeted nicely, we were sat at a nice table, she explained there was a large party, able to get our drink order in quickly, and bread. Waitress asked if we has a questions and then we placed our order. From here it was going down hill. You can can see the staff was working on the large order. Appetizers first and I would say very organized, looked like they had partially prepared and was putting on the final touches. By this time 15 minutes went by and our pizza which is fairly quick did not arrive. It looked like the team started to produce pizza for the big group, 25 minutes into it our pizza was still not made. Pizza went out to the large table, a table that seated 20 minutes after we did got a pizza and appetizer that they were sharing. I seen our waitress look over and she said we have a large party and it will be out shortly. 5 minutes later pizza was out. It looked correct and we were hungry so we started to eat. It did not taste right it had white anchovies on it. We said forget it and continued to eat it. 8 -10 minutes later someone had came up to our table and asked if we got the correct pizza and I said no, she looked at us like it was our fault. We did not want to eat it anymore. We waited another 15 minutes and still no entrees. We gave it another 5 and said no more. We told the waitress who was very sweet that we were leaving. Timing off-yes Could have been corrected-yes Could have been prevented and or recovered-yes We were very understanding. I have been in food service for 37 years and we have all had bad days, this situation could have been corrected by a lead, supervisor, manager coming to the table and being up front what was happening, too much time had passed, kitchen could have placed the pizza in before the large group, and so on.

We love this Italian restaurant near UCSB! Food here is very authentic, service is good too.....
The food was SO good! We each had a mixed seafood dish (pasta for me, risotto for my date) and it was just fabulous. Deeply flavorful and carefully prepared; seafood was fresh and thoughtfully combined (no overdone shrimp to be found). Service and location were fine, but at not âfine diningâ levels. Had a bit of a neighborhood spot feel to it.
Your staff was awesome! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Such great service!
The food was good as was staff and overall experience
The outside atmosphere is nice other than some occasional noises and smells from outside the patio area drifting in. Not a huge problem, great food and service overall.
