The Village Eatery is probably the most underrated restaurant in Glendora. They have beens serving up excellent breakfasts and lunches for years, including the town's best Monte Cristo, without sufficient recognition. The people are very friendly, the owner is a concerned and attentive presence, and the food is consistently exceptional. I'd recommend any number of the sandwiches, or the breakfast options but it's hard for me to do anything but that delicious Monte Cristo, with lean tasty meats and excellent raspberry sauce on the side.Go and enjoy one of the better meals you can get in Glendora...

Best food ever must try it super friendly people great atmosphere

Everyone knows the Village Eatery as an amazing brunch/breakfast place. But their Friday night dinners are amazing as well! This is a classic small town American dining experience that is quickly becoming harder and harder to find. The portions are generous, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the food is delicious classic cooking. It’s a shame they’re not open more nights a week.

We moved out of the area 12 years ago and make it a point to breakfast here at least once on visits to our hometown. Even with the challenges of recent years, Donna and Don still provide a quality hometown meal with a smile. Love this place that represents the BEST in family-run, local dining.

The food was amazing and it was tasty and the service was great!

A nice place to eat breakfast and enjoy downtown.

I had the Monte Cristo, with raspberry sauce, for lunch, something you don’t see on many menus. It was a little dry, but that’s because it was full of turkey and ham. The steak fries were very good , served hot and the garnish pickle was good too.Service was OK, I recommend this place for a good lunch.

I went to Glendora to support a couple of the local businesses and without available parking on the street I parked behind the Village Eatery in a public lot which was posted for local business use. When I returned, my car was blocked by a car and as the Village Eatery was the closest business, I asked some of the patrons if they owned the car. As I walked back to my car, a man approached and clearly he had blocked my car intentionally to tell me that this was only for patrons of his business and pointed towards the restaurant. I clearly had a juice in my hand from Juice it Up - 50 feet away. He told me I could've been towed. Not much of a welcome during the Christmas season. I hope the other businesses allow parking along the street as well as behind.

Small, family type cafe. Good food, good people, good prices! Best Iced Tea!

Really excellent ham. Super good Eggs Benedict and Monte Cristo.
