Great music playing, lots of people after we came in, but not overcrowded. Pastrami, hamburger and onion rings were delicious, but the fries were burnt and hard. Ugh. Overall it was great
I’ve been going here for decades. It was always one of my favorite place to eat. Recently, they’ve raised prices dramatically and the portions have shrunk as well. It seems like their new slogan should be “Half the pastrami at twice the price. “. Bummer
Overrated. Overpriced and confusing menu. The pastrami is fatty and rubbery. The counter person was pushy and rude. We were unfamiliar with the menu and he treated us like we should know the menu even though we had questions. All the sandwiches come pre-dipped in au jus, and you have to ask for the au jus on the side. $62 for 4 sandwiches, 1 order fries and 4 drinks. Totally not worth it.
The amount of pastrami is 30% less than it was at the end of 2021. The quality is very good, but don't scrimp on the meat . This is not a low cost sandwich, and I don't mind paying a dollar or two more to get more meat, like they used to. I ate there on 05/12/22, during lunch at the Glendora site.
We moved away and hadn't had the hat in 8 or so years we made the trip back to get our favorites. Chili Cheese fries with Pastrami Omg! You must try it!! Their Chili with the Pastrami ugh! Mouth watering hubby also got his favorite hot dog. People check them out
My go to for pastrami. Hands down best. I also like the other sandwiches too with so many options hard to choose. Sides are all good chili cheese fries are the top choice though. This location has drive through which is convenient. Cash and card accepted . Get some gift cards for your family.
My family and I have been coming here all my life. It’s such a greaseball of a place, but it’s so worth it. My family and I always order one chili cheese fries with pastrami ontop and one pastrami sandwich. These two things are always enough to fill us all up. Don’t forget to get an orange bang with ice! Truly the best pastrami place in all of SoCal.
My sister delivered a Pastrami sandwiches on a Sunday afternoon. We really enjoyed them. The next day I bought and delivered 2 Roast Beef and 2 Pastrami sandwiches to my brother family who got CovidLa Verne to Irvine delivery ?Wishing them well soon!
I loved their pastrami burger and my wife their pastrami sandwich with fries. Can't wait to go back! Wish I had taken pictures.
