Love the atmosphere, the customer service as alway was great. The food here is fantastic authentic as it can get highly recommended.
? I live 50 miles from Maria's now but when I'm in the area it's a must stop. I grew up in glendora I know there history and story of pepe's ate there as a child in the 70's.. only grips for me was this trip the Salsa was a bit to spicy for me ...we always take home chips and salsa but this time I had to pass.
0/10 let's call it what it is folks it's a fake Mexican restaurant no real flavor, the Sopa de albondigas is not good did they make it, or did they buy it from the Vons next door...no one speaks spanish at a Mexican restaurant lol
My family has been coming here for years. The food and service is always so amazing and authentic. You won't regret your time here.
Food was cold. Plate was hot. But thats were it ended. Bean and cheese burrito was very very small and nothing hardly in it.Cold Maybe 3 tablespoons of watered down mashed beans, no cheese. Sad looking. Someone else had carne asada burrito and said cold and no flavor and didnt taste like carne asada. Flautas were cold. Chimichanga cold, very small. Not busy at all for a Saturday lunch. Would not go back. This place wont make it with food like this. Makes you wonder when you walk into a mexican food restaraunt and dont smell food cooking.?
Food was good; service was...leisurely, which wouldn't normally be an issue, but this was during a weekday lunch, so it could be a problem if you actually need to get in and out. Still a good choice if you have time to spare.
I grew up in the SGV in the 50s and I've been eating Mexican food for as long as I can remember. I can say without any doubt at all that the dinner I had this evening was the worst Mexican food I ever had. Bland, dry, and skimpy. I dissected my Chile relleno - the Chile was only 2 inches long. On the other hand, service was good, but service alone will not bring me or my family back.
I wanted to give this place a chance because I live across the street. The burrito was so bland, like no flavor. It was extremely disappointing. I'm mexican, and if a Mexican restaurant can't get a burrito right, I can only imagine the rest of the menu. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to Taco Grill and order to go. They are the most delicious authentic mexican restaurant in Glendora.
Excellent food, good size portions. Place is clean and friendly.
I'm not sure why the take out is as bad as it is, because the eat in is impeccable... but we have had take out 5 times from here and EVERY time we have had the wrong items. We are either home, or we get it delivered every time we notice, so it's too late to do anything by then.I hope they start improving on this because it's a really good restaurant, with great staff and amazing foodI'm dropping a star because of this.Nice newly renovated restaurant thats fresh and has good Mexican food.. it will have 5 stars when they have a full bar
