Went on a Thursday with my wife for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service. I’ll go to Amici for my birthday lunch or dinner with the family! My only minor complaint is that I wanted a glass of Barolo with my Italian cheese/meat/bread sampler, and sadly they only sell by the bottle. But I had a glass of the Nebbiolo that was a close second. Very enjoyable.
One of my favorite restaurants in Glendale!Amici offers a variety of italian cuisines, including pizza and lasagna. The restaurant gets very crowded during the weekend, so be sure to reserve a table in advance.Prices are very reasonable for the level of customer service and the quality of the food that they offer.There's a full-menu bar, inside and outside seating. Parking is plenty but expensive.
We were treated like we were nobody , we had to wait 45 mins for table while there was tables open the whole time ! When we got called in the manager who told us to wait 45 min sat everyone who came in the door right away !We ordered the calamari and it was horrible! It wasn't salty enough and under cook !Than noticed our main dish was late, while everyone who was sat down the same time as us got there dishes right away. Mind you my husband and i only ordered one plate to share (I don't eat a lot ) ! Asked for more bread to eat with pasta we never got that . Definitely not coming back . Horrible customer service if your Latina/Latino do not waste your time !
This was my family’s first and probably last time eating here. When we arrived we were told the wait for a table of 5 would be from 1-1 1/2 hr wait, thankfully it only took 20 minutes to be seated. Everything was going well but our waitress, her service just wasn’t it. My dad noticed that she would attended her other customers, mainly white customers more than us, people of color. It took her longer to attend us than the rest of her guest. We began with appetizers, the calamari was good but it was salty not gonna lie. When we got our food, we were truly disappointed with its presentation. My brother, dad and I got the chicken parmigiana I believe and as soon as we got it my brother made the joke of “we got pizza guys” because there truly was so much cheese on our chicken. My mom got the boneless ribs, it was bad. The sauce it came with had more wine than taste itself. The ribs were chewy and the rice looked like pudding. The food was either dry or chewy and we were disappointed. The food was expensive so you would think the food is good.
Great vibe and good service. Walked in without a reservation and were seated immediately. Good menu, great food, and good times. Glad we stopped in.
Had an amazing experience, Allysa was awesome, incredible vibes. I loved my Manhattan.
This was our first time here and it's probably our last time. Very pricey for the food being served and the poor customer service. Our server never came to our table, he only came literally 2 times and that's it. We had to ask for lemon 3 times until someone brought us some. My chicken Parmigiano had no salt in it. I've had this dish at other restaurants and I know what it's supposed to taste like, this was definitely not it. Poor customer service and very poor quality food.
We recently moved to Glendale and Amici quickly became our favourite restaurant! It’s the best experience I’ve had dining and Omar our waiter made the experience so memorable, we’ve never had such personable service, he’s one of a kind. We love the food and having celiac disease I was surprised at how many gluten free options there were available for me. I’d highly recommend the restaurant to anyone in the LA area. 10/10
Excellent Food and even better hospitality!!! Thank you Luis for the special attention you gave to our party. You made this meal extra special. We will be back to celebrate many occasions in future. Tip: Do not skip dessert here. Every dessert was amazing!!!
Nice Italian restaurant, menu wasn’t that rich, I didn’t really love my meal either but it was good enough, they had decent service and of course a great location. Had both outdoor and indoor areas so you can enjoy your meal either way.
