Interesting story about this one. It used to be called Tony's Bar, ran by a guy named Bravo, who was a pretty cool dude.He apparently sold it to a guy named Alfredo, who was a piece of garbage (back in '98 I almost got into a fight with him because he was a racist smart-mouth).NOW it's run by Anglos that are actually pretty cool! I suppose it has come full circle.These days, Karaoke here is pretty fun. They stock the beers I like. I'll go 4 stars; It's better than it was 24 years ago by far.
I live down the street. Although I don’t come here as much as I would like to, by far a great neighborhood bar. Love the owner. She’s amazing. Love Sadie. She is adorbs. Thursday Karaoke and Wednesday Dueling Pianos. Uhm yes. Best bar in Tropico!!!!
Someone said this place tries too hard. Hmm. Fascinating. Did you notice the kind and energetic service? The reasonable prices? The fun atmosphere? The accpetance? That’s what you should come for….or not. Good luck.
Perfect little bar. Cozy, clean & Great drinks! I had the Mai Tai- it was straight ❣️. Staff is Awesome! Only 3 stars because there weren't any snacks or apps...but now I know when to get come! The new "place"!
That Banana Drink is to die for! Thanks for giving my taste buds something to be thankful for. I also liked the NY1 hat our bartender had on. BRAVO! Keep up the quality!

Great just waking in the door! Decor rivals other bars of a similar theme- glitter ceilings and a Neon Nagel in the jungle vibe. Speaking of great vibes, the staff is friendly and hospitable, and so are the drinks! I love the Shampoo Effect because not everyone needs a Toilet Bowl to have a good time.
Awesome place. As a Tiki/tropical drink fan, this place doesn't disappoint. It has the spirit of Tiki, but the twist of a cantina (hence the name). A friendly environment that makes everyone feel welcome. The drinks are familiar, but have an amazing twist. The quality of the cocktails is front and center. The craft is superb. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP
Great Bar, Fun Drinks, Clean/Sanitized, and Friendly StaffThis place is perfect for couples to go out have some drinks, while still avoiding big crowds. Music is calm and not too loud which makes it easy for chatting with your partner while using your indoor voice. We definitely will be back, this is our new favorite home bar ?❤
