Ordered take out from here because their prices seemed very reasonable. With prices these days, who can afford to pay $200 for sushi. While the sushi was okay, it was nothing to outstanding. I think 3 stars adequately represents this establishment.
When we first started to come this place was a 5/5. Here's the problem and why I'm giving it a 3/5. They are taking WAY TOO MANY online and pick up orders that its killing the people who eat here physically. Those orders has the whole staff huddling all on their counters to get them done that they forget about their tables.I believe that this place would do better if they cap their online and to go orders at certain times of the day. And by the way, for the love of the food God, don't have super long nails with deal with people's food ?With that said. The staff is really nice. I just think that they are completely overwhelmed and when you over working them for online and to go orders it trickles down to your customers.
Sushi Stop has been a favorite of mine before they even had a chain in Glendale, I remember driving out to Pasadena to get my fix and now that they're in Glendale I'm beyond ecstatic! The main appeal of these restaurants is that they offer high-quality Japanese cuisine at a very low price and they live up to the hype because the food is just absolutely delicious.Sushi Stop offers many unique rolls all made with the best ingredients and you can really taste how fresh the fish is. They also have curry bowls, teriyaki and tempura udon soup with tasty noodles all made fresh for your enjoyment.I'd highly recommend giving them a try, but definitely keep an eye out because it's kind of a hidden spot. Cheers!
Going here is so much fun. They have $1 wow special on wine, sake and beer. And they don't make you buy sushi you can literally go there with 1 dollar and drink its great. Make sure to leave a tip because even the girls are imported !
I was really hoping that this wouldn’t be a flop and thank God it wasn’t! It’s in a hot location on brand boulevard and it has great food and great prices. Sushi is the one thing you never want to have cheap because it usually means you sacrifice quality but not here. It’s a quick place with great bites. Highly recommend!
I order from sushi stop very often but today will be the last time. Everything in my today’s order was spoiled and stale. Salmon and yellowtail sashimis were spoiled and smelly. I hesitated at first but ended up trying which made me sick. Gyoza was stale and looked like it was fried several times, oily and stale. Salmon roll was wrapped in foil and spoiled. Even the miso soup was bad. I feel disappointed and sick :(
First time here.. happy hour.. was delicious ?.. table if 4 we sat outside on the sidewalk .. they had heater lamps..
The WORST service and rude staff I've ever had!!! You guys deserved zero ? ???This is our third time to ordered but it always happened. The food is delish but my only concerned is the service and the staff. You must traine your staff what is the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! And must double check the food before giving the customer!
Worst customer service. Pick up order ready email received and arrived to pick up 30 min after and order was not even processed due to internal system error per employee. No greetings when I walked in, just left standing there more than a few min until I stopped someone and there was just one table of ppl who just walked in with me and sat down. No explanation until I asked what was happening, no apologies at all until I asked for clarification second time. Worst service!
Good sushi, good service, and reasonable prices but not the bomb!
