My friend took me here. I live right around the corner and never knew it was even here. The number one was delicious. I honestly forgot the name of it, but it is a ground beef kabob. The meat was seasoned to perfection. We also ordered some yogurt dip. It had a dill taste to it and was great to dip the beef in.
Shamshiri is severely overpriced and the food is far below average. The chicken we ordered was raw, the beef was over cooked, and the food tasted old.The doogh contained too much mint, and was almost undrinkable.Avoid this restaurant if you’re looking for a decent meal.
Excellent, food was delicious, service was top of the line,Thank you for a great evening
MAJOR DISCLAIMER: THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT OPEN UNTIL 9PM. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO WALK IN PAST 8:15 PM — YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED & BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.We attempted to dine in after a movie at 8:31. They did not allow us to sit down. The manager claimed that they stop taking dine in orders at 8:15pm.Not only will this restaurant never get a dime from me — they are not understanding a major fundamental of the restaurant business — communication. First te coming here but the food was good!! Pricey but worth it.
The food always been very good. Generous portions and good service
Amazing dinner tonight. We went all vegetarian. The soup of the day, Ash-E-Joe, was the best do not miss dish for me. Full of flavor and comfort. The vegetarian bagali polo was delicious as well! How in world can rice, beans, and dill be so good! Desserts were tasty, my fav there being the Faloudeh. Service was a little slow but nice. Our questions about the dishes were patiently answered. If you have never had Persian food before and don’t know what to do with the appetizer onion - Put a piece in the pita bread with some butter. Somehow the combo just works. They also have outside seating with heaters.
Great service during lunch hour. Great barg kabob. Ok kobideh. And not so good ghemeh. No home made bread, just pita.
Recently a dear friend and her mother were treated very rudely, asked to sit out in the cold. All because of “social distancing BS”. When will the nonsense stop? In the meantime don’t support restaurants that ask perfectly healthy people to sit outside or where masks
Good service good food.
