On the left ( Big Chicken) on the right (Shake Shack). $13 for a combo from BG and $11 for a single burger from SS. Expensive food for below mediocre food that not only doesn't look presentable but also feels like I got ripped off. Food leaves alot to desire. Only nice thing about SS was the nice staff.
I placed an order through the Shack App and then realized a second after I placed it that I hadn’t scheduled a time. There was no way for me to cancel the order or adjust it and the confirmation email told me to call the store. No one picks up the phone and the manager is always “away,” considering how expensive this food is for what it is it’s a little crazy that they don’t have this basic service to adjust your order.
Really obnoxious service while waiting in line. I like the food. The service was unprofessional and immature.
Seems like a pretty popular place, and of course I have heard about how good it is supposed to be. Cool vibe inside. Lots of choices for various takes on burgers. Some creative flavor combinations. We ordered a regular hamburger with fries and a Shack burger with fries. That's two burgers and two fries with no drinks. $22. And they ask for a tip on the digital receipt.... Both burgers were very small. Almost thought they were sliders. Buns were not toasted, which is good by me, but the tomato ended up making the bun all soggy. Fries were crisp and hot with decent salting, although there were one or two in the batch that were undercooked. Quality seemed good overall though, even if quantity was disappointing. Flavor was OK. Not bad, but nowhere near the flavor I was expecting, considering the hype. Parking at this particular store was very limited. We parked across the street in public parking which set us back another $5. That isn't Shake Shack's fault of course, just city parking costs in L.A., but it did add to the cost of an overall underwhelming meal. Service was friendly, but it did take about 10 min to get what amounted to an overpriced average tasting fast food meal. My kid of course, loved it all.
Shake Shack never seems to disappoint. I've been to many Shake Shacks across The US and this one is definitely one of my favorites. Big ups to the kitchen for keeping the flavor profile that I know and love.Cashier was training and hit all the steps of service that made sure my order had everything I need.Andrew was very attentive and was always one step ahead. He even checked in on us to make sure our order turned out alright.My friends and I love Shake Shack. Cannot wait to keep coming back for more after the gym. Cheers!
First timers! Absolutely LOVED the customer service. Great staff, super friendly, approachable and even hooked it up with a sampler of their cookies and cream custard which was bomb. The food was great as well. We ordered the chicken sandwiches. One on a gluten free bun (not grainy/dry like at other places) and one in a regular bun. 20/10. It's been a while since we had great food and customer service like that.
This Flavorful Hamburger ? ? that I didn't know I wanted....lots of Bacon ? were you have Bacon at the end of your chew...
This was my 1st time coming here. I got the shake stack burger. It has a burger Patty with cheese, bacon, fried mushroom stuffed with cheese. Then a Christmas cookie shake. They were both so good . It made me cry a little . I definitely need to have some nicotine. After this fabulous meal. It was so good! I'll be back for sure.
High prices for meh food. I love to give food places five stars!!! However, these ? are not worth it for the price. A double cheeseburger is near 10.00 a single over 6.00 and they are super small. The bread is good but if you are going to pay these prices go to 5 guys or Habit. For 28.00 we got a double cheeseburger, ? and fries w/bacon and cheese. No drinks. I requested onion, no onion came with my cheeseburger. That is not the reason for my low rating. My ratings are based on quality and quantity of food, how clean the restaurant is and service is last bc we all have bad days... I understand if cooks and servers makes mistakes we all been there....... Plus it's not the cooks fault or servers on the quality or quantity of food. Pricing different story. These days working families need more bang for your buck. Save your money and take the kids To McDonald's or In N Out for some good old fashion shakes and burgers... Some pictures to show how small your food is... Oh I did order extra pickles..? the pictures make ur food look larger but the burger is no larger than your palm of ur hand. My husband ate his double and mind. Fyi my husband is not FAT and neither am I
