Omg! This place is the best! It is not cheap, but it is authentic and delicious! I can't wait to go again. The food comes with a delicious soup...and you can't forget the Spumoni at the end of your meal!

I've been coming here for literally over the past 40 years ... and my comments/feelings about Scarantino's have been this wonderful and heartfelt, consistently ... the entire time! This day in age ... especially after these past few, nightmarish years we've all endured, this is an establishment that provides a much needed escape into the world of dining out at its best ... which is so damn good for all our souls! Max was an awesome server!!! Service with a smile, 100% on top of what we needed when we needed it. Food tasted like momma cooked it with love, and heaped it high.
The food and service was the best ever. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. There was also a very welcoming older gentleman that brought us the bread to the table and kept checking on us as well. He was very nice. Thank you for the best food and awesome experience overall.

My wife and I had dinner here Friday evening, May 20. We couldn't have been happier! We both loved our meals and the service was excellent. I'll add that the prices were very reasonable.
We’ve been going to this family owned Italian restaurant for years. The pasta is simply delicious, the lasagna is out of this world. All dishes come with homemade bread, soup and salad (salad dressing homemade as well). This mainstay is in the heart of Glendale near the eagle rock plaza and the 2 & 210 Freeways. Whether it’s to go or for takeout, you will love it?
Our new favorite Italian! From start to finish we had an amazing experience yesterday. We were looking for something authentic, that hasn’t changed through the years, family run…. We found it! We were welcomed, had a table fast even without reservation. The service was stellar, I am vegan, and the waitress knew exactly what she had to do (usually I have to explain what can/can not have to waiters and it gets tiring) but she immediately accommodated me with replacements without me having to detail anything, so efficient. Also the portions are HUGE. The house wine Chianti from San Antonio was fantastic. The food was hot and flavorful, very authentic Italian food. The atmosphere was friendly and homely. It felt like we’ve been been coming there for years even thought it was our first time. It’s clean (I love a good red and white table cover <3) great music, affordable, qualitative, great attention from waiters/bussers. I understand why it’s been running since the 60’s, and I hope the family will keep the business open through generations to come!
My parents took me to Scarentinos when I was 3 yrs old. I remember Paul was a great server, he would wear a black tux, as I recall he was French. I am now 59 yes old and still go to the best Italian restaurant . Scarentinos is our go to for birthdays. Great service great food and the Scarentinos family are the nicest people.
Excellent minestrone soup! Seriously good! Professionally-friendly and attentive staff. Sweet Italian style interior. Very enjoyable dining experience! ❤❤❤
