I love the cheese rolls. But honestly everything is absolutely delicious!
Croquettes are yumm and don’t forget the croissants. Glendale Portos is less crowded as compared to the Portos at other places. Portos is a go to place for best (again yumm) food at cheap prices.
This specific Porto’s location in Glendale is my favorite! I’ve been coming here for years and their food never disappoints! Although the long lines can be disappointing at times. It gets very busy depending on what day and time you visit. Definitely recommend going during the week if you don’t want to deal with a line or crowds.My go to items are the Chicken empanadas and carrot cake slice! Literally obsessed with their chicken empanadas, I highly recommend trying it at least once! I’ve also tried a variety of their other cake slices and pastry items. Their potato balls are also a pretty good option too.Prices are pretty fair for what you get. And the service at this location has always been good!
Amazing place and worth the long line if there is one! We went three times on our trip to Glendale. In our trips we ordered the Torrejas French toast, Cubano sandwich, ham and cheese croissant, meat pies, chicken empanada, ham croquettes, cheese rolls, besitos, blueberry amd cheese Danish, and cheese balls. Every single item was delicious!
I only have 2 words to describe Porto's Bakery and Cafe.........Fresh & Beautiful. From the time you walk in the door...all you smell is is the fresh goodness piping put of there. Wafting around you once you enter. The music is playing and just surrounds you. I mean ...it's great. And the staff....impeccable. it's amazing and My favorite is the Mango Mousse Cake. I picked one up today for my birthday. And I got a free chocolate chip cookie out of the blue. They can always have my business. Love Porto's.
Went there for lunch, got in line, I was #20, line increased behind me out the front door. In 15 minutes I have moved up to #10. Looked like preordering for pickup was the way to go. Great food but stay away from walk-in ordering at lunch time.
It has the best cakes in town, very crowded, you need to get here fast before cakes are gone, it also serves lunch including sandwiches, drinks soups and salads, you can have weddings cakes here too
All the Portos are great, the advantage of the one located in glendale is the nice enviroment and restaurant size. Come here for a delicious breakfast. You'll have to make a 10-15 minutes line to order but it is well worth the wait. Then the ataff will give you an order/table tracker to get you your plates and beverages.The cuban is always good but the cuban french toast is insane! Good, pretty and affordable makes visiting Portos a pleasant experience
