Panda Inn is part of the Panda Restaurant Group Inc. which… yes, you guess it Panda express is a subsidiary company. Of course, this is supposed to be more of a formal dining experience. There first restaurant opened in Pasadena, Ca in 1973 by Andrew and Master Chef Ming-Tsai Cherng. According to Panda inn’s website, it all began with their vision to create timeless Mandarin and Szechwan dishes mixed with an innovative style. In my opinion it’s definitely innovative. If you know food then you know Szechwan dishes are highly regarded for its spice, heat spice! Something most Americans can’t take, unless its tabasco! Soo the Cherng were smart enough to create a fusion and adapt to their new surroundings. They serve based on your spice level, as opposed to Szechwan numbing spice. We came for a family gathering of a lost loved one, it didn’t take long for the servers to start bringing out the food. They were fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the décor and noticed a full bar.Lo Mein – 4/5Beef in Oyster Sauce- 5/5 Sooo good, I made some the next weekFish in Black Bean Sauce – 5/5 Glad the sauce wasn’t smothered all of the fish or it would have been soggy.Fried Rice – 5/5White Rice – 4/5Orange Chicken – 4/5 Id rather have the panda express version.

While we love Panda Express, we were very disappointed with the entire service. Yes, the family-style portions are generous, but they were cold by the time they arrived at the table. And the service was nonexistent. We had to stand up to get a waiter even to place an order or to get the check. We hadCrab Wontons 13crab meat, cream cheese, scallions in a fried wontonas starters and could not find a trace of crab meat in them. All we got was cheese beautifully fried - and delicious, but with no crab meat horribly overpriced at $13.Friends took us - apologizing all the time for the cold food and the horrible service. They really ruined what could have been a beautiful evening for the six of us. I would not go again.

The price to quality ratio is pretty great, the service is fast and the ambiance classy. Fun fact: this is actually the first Panda Express, and their menu items reflect that. Although it's very upscale; it's still an upscale version of Panda Express. I'm no spice fenatic but i do like some here and there, some of their spicy dishes didn't seem to have any spice to them. But overall a positive experience, I appreciate the dipped white chocolate fortune cookies.

Fantastic food and Excellent service.I went to panda inn for lunch special for me and my friendI got a wonderful service from WENDY.Good food and good conversation while waiting for my food

Nice ambiance & good food

On Mother’s Day I was excited to place an order for pick up and was asked to hold which I did.15 mins later after being placed on hold they pick up and you can clearly hear them in background don’t take the phone order and they hang up. I called back once again I was placed on hold for 10 minutes they picked up and hung up again. It would’ve been nice if you would’ve just said we are busy we can’t take phone orders or not answer at all.

Vwey nice setting for gourmet Chinese food. The restaurant offers plenty of seating options for any size party. Sat down with no wait time by hostess. Waiter came over took order and food came all out within 10 minutes. The dishes are served family style portions. They offer full bar services for mixed and straight up.

It is not the top Chinese restaurant in Glendale that it used to be. The good is not good at all, the place is virtually empty for a Friday, the class the Panda Inn used To have is gone gone starting with laminated menus for dinner. Not sure what happened! ?

Toda la comida estuvo deliciosa, excelente servicio
