I didn't actually eat here, but I did go in to purchase a gift card. I was greeted as soon as I went in. I was told she would get the manager. As I waited, I was greeted again in under 5 minutes and I explained that I was waiting for the manager. I waited a while and one of the servers said he would check to see if the manager was available yet. I appreciated this, truly. The manager apologized once she came out, explaining that she was helping in the kitchen. It was nice to get an update. I haven't eaten their food, but their customer service is on par. ??
Recommended by Residence Inn which is a 4 minute walk. Why this place isn’t packed is beyond me. The portions are sizable and the fish was so fresh, and prices are beyond reasonable. I had the chirashi bowl which was amazing. It also came with soup and salad. Good music and sports on tv, large space. Will definitely come back on next business trip!
Octopus in Glendale and Burbank are our go-to sushi spots for fresh sashimi, nigiri, or rolls. Their menu is great and they have a decent selection for adventurous eaters. We have been ordering through postmates throughout 2020-2021 and the quality is still there. My daughter and fiancé absolutely love the salmon nigiri. Their sweet shrimp and tuna nigiri is amazing.
Bento lunch is a pretty good deal. Only about $15… (+$2 if you pick sashimi like me) you can choose two main dishes then the rest (salad, sinomono, rice, miso soup, edamame, karaage fried chicken, and gyoza) will come with them. The staff was nice too.
I ate here yesterday . The food is over priced ! I got the Kara roll it’s baked ! Literally I tasted salty fish ! It was nasty ?. I ordered the kids meal they have with children with rice abs salad. After 15 min the waiter comes by and says we don’t have chicken . They only has beef . I was like okay . We had ordered edamame which is an appetizer they didn’t bring it till the end which is ridiculous! And it taste nasty and old. Overall I would never eat here again .
Can you tell what that lump of something is ? Because it doesn't look like squid legs to me .ewww. and no chopsticks. never going there again.
This place has really good sushi. When we went they have the happy hour menu. Sooooo good! Service is great as well.
The words amazing or delicious are deceiving on any reviews for this location. My tempura was good enough. Seaweed salad was okay. Jalapeno Roll was awful it fell apart the moment I picked it up and I am concerned the ingredients were legit. Was told a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill due to their portable payment system. Honestly would have tipped more but not with that BS. Disgusting is what I felt as I left...will not return. No goodbye or thanks for your business as I departed. Not sure the few pieces off Tatsuta chicken I ate wasn't a rat, cat or squirrel. The meat was dark and it chewed like I was eating fried liver or gizzards? Good service only if they perceive you will tip well. I went solo and received one check in to see if I needed anything the entire hour I was there. Bathroom is old, faucet had corrosion and the establishment is not well cleaned. Its like a bldg plopped on top of a dirty gravel road once I looked under the table to retrieve somemthing I dropped. Less than mediocre food. Reported them to the health department. Do not eat here.
