Had the good fortune to find this place while visiting Glendale. I can honestly say it is the best food I have ever eaten in L.A. The lamb was absolute perfection and everything along with the lamb was Devine and fresh. I have never eaten rice so special. The gentleman manning the front counter was very friendly and efficient. Simply a fantastic experience.
You will be SO happy you stopped by! The lulekabob smells and tastes perfect, salad dressing was light and flavorful! Hummus was tasty! They’ll provide this but just in case✨always extra sumac/onions and lavash. Next time I’m getting pork tenderloin or lamb chops!
What an Amazing tiny Spot rated Micheline Star!Well! After months to plan to go there! Finally went there Today! The Son was just so welcoming! So cool!So down to earth!Anyhow,I ordered the chicken thighs meal as I’ve being eating a lot meat lately.Surprisingly, the chicken was amazingly juicy and well seasoned!I highly recommend ordering on line prior to go there as they are super busy!I am Beyond Grateful for today meal and so gracious service ☺️???????
Absolute perfection. The chicken thighs were the best I’ve ever had just by themselves — but then you smear on the garlic sauce and your mind gets blown! I usually don’t care for rice but it was excellent. How could a roasted tomato be so delicious? No surprise the flatbread and hummus were wonderful, too. The chicken thigh entree didn’t seem big until I was halfway through it and realized it’d be another meal later on.I stopped by around 3:30 on a Saturday — there was no one else there but I was told the wait would be 25-30 minutes. If you’re in a rush, order ahead of time. If you’ve got time to spare, enjoy a walk around the neighborhood or run an errand down the street till your order is ready. Enjoy your Mini Kabob experience!
Trust in Armen - he will never steer you wrong. Eggplant caviar is essential!
We're local, and this is hands down our favorite kabob place, and being in Glendale, CA that's saying a lot! A literal mom & pop (plus son) place, eating the food here completely feels like you ate a lovingly prepared meal at a loved one's house. The seasoning is always on-point, the kabobs perfectly cooked, the sides fresh, delicious, and savory. The sweetest people you will ever meet. I never tire of Mini Kabob. If you are in Glendale, you owe yourself a meal from this place. These days, though (2020 - 2022), it's takeout/deliver only, and their hours are often limited, but so, so, so worth it!
This Tiny place in Glendale has AMAZING food. So far, my best food experience in LA. Food is always fresh and super well seasoned. Family owned and operated (really nice and humble people!!). Chicken tight kabob is my favorite. Hummus, the garlic sauce are superb as well. Can get busy, so order in the morning. No seating available due to covid, to go only!
I hesitate to write a review only because I would prefer to keep people away from this already well known gem. Get the beef kibbeh or the chicken thigh. I normally do not order chicken, but its ridiculous here, especially with the garlic yogurt sauce. Meals come with terrific hummus, pita, and a roasted tomato. The only downside to this place is no dine in currently due to covid, but the food is too good not to visit for take-out. No other place in LA has beaten the food here. I was at raffi's recently and the food there doesn't even compare.
Chicken lule is so flavorful, and the eggplant caviar is divine. i love this place so much. Order ahead !
CASH ONLY if ordering at the restaurant. The food was excellent. A friend wanted to go because this place was highlighted in the New York Times recently. The menu is short and there are almost no substitutions. The food is made to order and is a very small shop. Do yourself a favor and call your order in or use one of the delivery/takeout services (this is also how you can pay by credit card). I had the chicken thighs. The hummus was fresh and silky. The rice was a little oily, but so flavorful. The chicken was moist and hot/cooked through. The jalapeño pepper was so hot for a jalapeño. I am already planning my way back. The price is a bit high for lunch, but it is a lot of food. Save some for later.
