Ordered a birthday cake for my sisters bday. All of the cake toppings for the cake decorations didn’t arrive on time from Etsy. When I told them she said no problem and tried to decorate the cake with what she had. Thank you. Everyone loved the cake it was delicious. Everyone kept coming back for more. From the moment we showed them a picture of the cake we wanted, to cake tasting, to seeing it live on our wedding day, Maksen Cake House honestly outdid themselves! Both my husband and I were blown away with the outcome! Not only did it look absolutely amazing, it tasted so so good! Our guest truly enjoyed the cake! We both absolutely enjoyed working with them. The whole experience was fun and smooth. We didn't have to worry about anything! Wow. I called eight bakeries for a same day custom cake to bail me out of forgetting my best friends birthday! This Bakery and their staff saved my day and earned me another decade of good friendship! First off she accepted the order with no hesitation, went above and beyond on creativity and design and even added a last minute whiskey bottle to complete the look. On top of all that, the cake tastes delicious! It was her walnut macadamia special. Truly a joy to bring to a party and instagrammable!
My friend told me he wanted Coconut Cream birthday cake for our church birthday celebration two days away. Little did I know, this is a special order cake with a minimum 7 day preparation time. I must've called 25 bakeries.About to give up at 6 pm Friday night--I decide to google best coconut cream cake in Los Angeles and to my delight, several reviews mentioned Maksen Cake House Bakery, it was 5 mi from my place, and they were open til 8 pm.Other reviews mentioned how they had a last minute cake order & they always came through. I rushed over after work. They agreed to do a 10x10 Raffaello Coconut Cream sheet cake. They gave me a sample & it was delicious!I picked it up Sunday before church and to my surprise it was a huge a 4 layer sheet cake more than enough for all our attendees!The cake was more than just delicious, it was moist, not too sweet, & everyone commented on how amazing it was! It was the perfect cake to honor our birthday celebrants and the crowning touch was salted caramel ice cream!Thank you Maksen, for making this birthday celebration a huge success! This place was absolutely amazing! They were extremely accommodating for us who just walked in and asked if it was possible for a cake to be made with less than 2 hours remaining of the store to be closed. They made our cake within 20min and was absolutely Beautiful! It was such a great place! We're so lucky it wasn't packed with customers at that time, otherwise we would of had to wait until the next day.I wanted to Thank the Store again for making me my Birthday Cake at such short timing!
Great tasting pastries and great friendly service.. wanted a fruit tart and a sheet of a certain cake that they didn't have at the moment but they quickly whipped both up for me on the spot.. love this place
I tried from many bakeries, but this one is definitely the top one. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and for the cakes there are no words. The cakes are not just very tasty but also with nice designs for your preference. The best place to shop for cakes!!!!
Mike and the whole staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I'll go elsewhere to someone who is a bit more courteous.
