Got the cold nikutama udon today and liked it. Tempuras were disappointing and overpriced. Each tempura piece is about 2.5 dollars. I got the shrimp, the white fish, the sweet potato, the chicken, and the croquette. The sweet potato tempura kind of felt like it was still raw inside. The chicken tempura was the best one out of all pieces I’ve picked. It was juicy and flavorful. Overall, I would probably come back again but only for the udon.
Food was delicious! My eyes were a lot hungrier than my tummy so I ordered a large bowl and nearly forced myself to finish. Got the curry and additional items like fried zucchini, fried eggplant, fried shrimp to go with my bowl. Definitely want to try other dishes.
I really like their kake udon with shrimp tempura. Simple but delicious.
I enjoy going here, mainly because they make fresh udon! Having fresh udon makes a difference when eating it. You can eat it plain (BK or Kake udon) and add your tempura protein of choice or you can eat one of their specialties (Curry Nikutama, Tonkatsu, Nikutama, Beef, Curry). Can't go wrong with any of them. The main problem is deciding which one to eat and fill your stomach with!! ?
Great noodle spot in the galleria. It's next to the food court. Right by the entrance near McDonald's. You order at the counter cafeteria style. There's tables in the narrow seating area but it fills up fast. You might have to sit out in the mall tables. The tonkatsu is great! Brothy, with thicker noodles. Also love the nikutama. There's only a few sides of tempura but they're good too. Definitely worth repeat visits.
Solid udon at a decent price. At first I thought ugh mall food but my son loves udon so we made a visit. I am happy we did the spicy (not really) udon was delicious the both was tasty and additions were not obnoxious. Although you do get some mall cafeteria style seating. We will be back especially if we're shopping in the mall.

Udon - perfect. I love how they gave me lots of green onions.Tamago - sweet and savory - loved it.Fried squid - don’t recommend. Nothing special about it; I’d rather have another tamago.
I stopped by a little before closing time. I'm not sure if that affected my experience below. The food was eatable but I wouldn't stop by a second time. It wasn't particularly fresh or flavorful. The tables were a bit dirty. Overall, I would say it satisfied my hunger pains but then again, I could have had In and Out instead. :/.
We’ve been waiting for months for Marugame Udon’s grand opening in San Ramon and it did not disappoint. We waited in line for 1.5 hours on a Friday night, but it was worth the wait. Great food and great service. I would highly recommend if you love udon.
