Not as good as I remember. Definitely not Versailles worthy or Porto's. I enjoy Cuban cuisine and the roasted pork was dry and the Mambos chicken was dry. When you see pieces of meat that look like jerk along the edge you can realize this. The rice was salty. One plate if maduros was hard and sweet(caramelized) the other plate the maduros we're soft and not sweet. Sorry I love Cuban food and I use to go here a very long time ago but things change.
We were the 1st customers of the day. The chicken was very dry and overcooked almost as it was from the day before. I've been here before and it was good
Been coming here for 25 years. Their food is delicious! Mambo' never disappoints! Every dish is solid!
Came for lunch hoping to have a great experience and be wow’d by the food.I had the Cubano sandwich and the avocado salad.By all appearances the sandwich seemed yummy, however I found it lacking in flavor and very dry.The avocado salad as you can see is half an avocado on a bed of tomatoes and onions.Service was good and place was clean …just sad the food was lacking?
Food is very good. I would have given 4 stars if wait staff weren't so rude. For Christ's-sake, get some manners.
I haven't been here in a number of years and not for dinner. Today we brought a friend and we all loved the food. We started with the Tostones rellenos with shrimp - very good. I had the Mambos chicken and it was very good. Our friend had the steak. It was good but she had to take half home as it was a large steak. My wife had the Toston steak sandwich. Also very tasty. I especially liked the flavor of the black beans. We finished it off by sharing a flan. We shuffled out with full stomachs and a smile on our faces.
excellent food and lovely service
Food was delicious, but the mood of our table was absolutely ruined from extremely poor customer service. One of the waitresses rudely cleared off my father's half empty glass without asking if he was finished. When he politely reminded her of the fact, she bluntly replied to him; "I'm sorry, we're closed", before quickly walking away. Absolutely disgusting. It was 7:56 pm, four minutes before closing. We were almost finished with our meal and would've been ready to get going a little after 8. But that was before we were suddenly unwelcome to stay any longer.Once I received my card back, I planned on writing a short note on the merchants receipt, but the pen was out of ink. That's okay, this complete joke of a waitress wasn't even going to see a penny of a tip anyways.Circus of a restaurant service with clowns disguised as waiters. They don't even introduce their names when they serve you. You're probably better off coming here for lunch, I think 8 hours should be plenty of time. Unless they start escorting you out around 2:30 or so.Embarrassment of a dining experience. Next time, I'm taking my business across the street to Sushi Nishi-ya, where they actually take care of their customers.
Delicious food. The Mambo sauce is addicting. The staff is great. We had amazing service.
Best Cuban food I've had in forever. Roasted Pork is so great!! Service is wonderful and casual environment. Great place for dinner with friends!!!!!
