We got there around noon on Sunday, and they were already closing because they had sold out of most things. They still had a few things we were able to try, and it was all delicious! Great family owned bakery, will definitely go back, and earlier to try more!
I have known this local family for many years and they are amazing people. So incredibly genuinely kind. We order all of our holiday pies and rolls from them, and our tamales. If we have a party, we buy our cupcakes and custom cakes from them as well. They make the most delicious Cuban bread. I believe they also do catering, but check with them first. Experienced baker previously from Portos. Take a look at their Facebook page (Los Almendros Bakery) for photos. Highly recommend. Parking in back (Western and San Fernando Rd.) This place is awesome!! Their food is great, prices are low for their excellent quality, their attitude is wonderful (the two girls and their parents). They are always very eager to please their customers.Only a few of my favorites: mini-concjas, flan, tamales, media noche sandwich, strawberry croissant.Thank you Los Almendros!!Suggestion: Place a jar for tips. Your very good service will be rewarded with tips by your customers.
