Took my daughter here since she'd been asking for shave ice. Would have loved to sample the goods, but the place never opened, despite speaking ith the manager who stated its opening was just slightly delayed. Oh well.Update: I returned a week later and it seems their staffing issues have been resolved. The service was good and we had a positive experience. Some flavors were out of stock but my daughter had a great time which is all I really care about.
We just came from Hawaii and were having some withdrawals so we decided to look up a place while we stayed in LA, and came across this cute gem. They were as authentic as it gets! My husband ordered a shaved ice with cherry, fruit punch and piña colada.
These guys are amazing!!! We showed up 10 minutes before they were supposed to close and they treated us like we were VIP's. They made sure we had everything we wanted and even stayed a little late to make our bowls extra special. It was worth the trip from Long Beach for the treat!

I'm from Hawaii and having this shave ice feels like home. I love this place! ♥️My order was very vanilla. Literally. Vanilla ice cream , blue vanilla syrup flavor, topped off with mochi and marshmallows ... Mmmmm yum!
On Monday afternoon I went to Hang Loose Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and I had a great time. The atmosphere was friendly, the staff were easy to talk to, and the shaved ice was the perfect mixture of syrup and ice. I’ll definitely make time to come back :)
