I had a fast and delicious grilled salmon sandwich. I absolutely enjoyed it. Thank you.

Kool-Aid pranks this restaurant is like a counter where you order and you cannot drink alcohol even though they sell it in the store part. I ordered the grilled sea bass but not Chilean sea bass it was around $16.50 with a substitution of grilled vegetables as opposed to coleslaw. Food was a great value for the money food was fresh only thing I could suggest is that they sell booze in the store also closes very early at 7:00 every day except for Sunday we're closes at 6:00 p.m. I really loved the food there and it's fresh and it's cheap fish there is very very expensive and if you ask me overpriced but the restaurant is not very expensive which is interesting. I would go there once a week it's a great value but just for the restaurant not to buy fish that's outrageously priced. Look for the daily specials they're in the middle and they have two cashiers so you order then you go and sit down and they give you a little buzzer and it rings when your food is done. Place kids very crowded but the restaurant food is fantastic especially for the price.

The poke bowls here are excellent. We went with Hawaii style Tuna poke, which was very flavorful. You don't get all the fancy fixings, but the quality of ingredients more than makes up for it. Excited to come back to try the Hamachi, which they ran out of. We were able to order at the counter for takeout.

Best place to buy seafood in LA, full stop. So fresh and delicious, every single time. I personally can't have shellfish due to a severe allergy, but couldn't help but admire how beautiful and huge the shrimps were. Plus, they've not cross contaminated the allergens yet. Very much appreciated.

Awesome selection of fresh fish! Also love that they have a rotation of prepared Ceviches, cold salads, ect plus you can order or eat in hot food prepared to order like seafood tacos, fish and chips and many other dishes. This place is a must visit!

AS IT SHOULD BESuper clean, well-lit, incredible selection of fresh fish and seafood, knowledgeable staff (at least 10 behind the counters), organized, fast service. One of the top fish and seafood destinations in southern California. Add a prepared foods section with cooked to order delicacies + a large selection of sides and salads.I ordered the ceviche and a charbroiled catfish with slaw and potato salad. The ceviche had bite-sized pieces of marinated shrimp, squid and fish with 1/4" cubes of tomato, cucumber and green pepper + cilantro and just a hint of heat. The catfish was cooked to perfection - grill marks and all. Tender, juicy fall apart goodness. I chose the lemon butter sauce - superb - and there were lemon wedges as well.Packaging is stellar. Cole slaw, potato salad and sauce in their own containers - all 3 COLD.One suggestion - if you want a cooked to order dish - suggest you order online or by phone - as the wait to order and have it cooked to order takes some time. Well worth the wait!!

Love the fresh fish and used to come here to buy fish for couple of years. Today, I noticed they have increased the prices for around 15-20% for most fish types. What is the rational behind such increasing amount? I understand most groceries have increased their prices slightly but 15% is huge amount. Not sure if I come back

Best sushi grade fish for home chefs!Great food in house as well.If you are ever making sushi or oysters at home, or anything seafood, this is your 1 stop shop!

Great pit-stop for quick bites as well as an amazing and clean selection of fresh fish and condiments for home cooking.Very clean, safe and sanitary.

So it was a little confusing going in for the first time. The market is seperate from the restaurant. If you want to buy some fresh fish, shrimp, seafood or their ready to go sashimi/salads you have to get a number first which is located straight ahead on top of the glass display. They do offer deep frying or crispy frying the seafood you purchase for an additional fee per pound (if you decide to fry it there you'd have to pick it up at the restaurant). There's a seperate line to order at the restaurant, so we didn't order anything but were really craving the fish.Overall, the fish was fresh, so the rating is due to the quality of what we ordered. You can't go wrong with adding some salt.We also came in about half an hour before closing, so the person who was helping us seemed a little frustrated, and kept stressing we had to pay before we got the food, which we thought was obvious but who knows what day he had.Aside from that would definitely recommend if your by the area.
