Didn't try their food because they didn't open the door. I'm giving 1 start to be the management's concern what happens in this branch. I got there 25 minutes before the closing hour mentioned in Google Map, elpolloloco.com, and on the sign on the door. I could see the guy there, so knocked on the door, after a few tries he looks at me, so I pointed my watch and pointed the business hours sign on the door, but he didn't even bother to come forward and talk and just makes gestures saying they're close.
The food can be decent at times.Employees lack professionalism and customer service. You can still have sense of urgency and be kind to your customers. I got a "yup" after being rushed and still saying thank you after receiving my food. Common behavior throughout the staff at this location.
We ordered 2 family meals from there today. Literally everything got thrown away. Very disappointed by this location. The service was incredibly lousy. The lady helping us seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She gave us attitude when we asked for peppers. Just horrible service. The one on San Fernando is worth driving further for

This location has never got an order right, not once. Do not use Postmates, DoorDash or Grubhub, you must be there to check you order or they will get it wrong every time.

5 Stars for Food but 3 Stars for service. When going through the Drive Through you'll get help from either a young guy who is VERY unprofessional on the speaker OR an older Hispanic woman who gives major attitude at the window when you ask for any salsa or sauce. I don't understand the attitude she gives for providing something that's free with purchase. It's a simple grab and drop in the bag. And then there's a young Hispanic guy that thinks it's funny to take your order using an Indian accent... maybe hire people that are a bit more professional? Also what's up with occasionally closing the drive thru by putting a traffic cone out there??
Food and service was great. My only issue was that dining in wasn't available. Besides that, great location.
One star for being open in 2022, unfortunately for pick up or drive thru only, forgetting ordering for delivery, it’s a joke. The drive thru worker was rushing through the ordering process and uncooperative to explain any offers. Drive thru banners outdated and paper like. Ordered juicy chicken got burnt chicken, see photo. Ordered large sides, couldn’t bother to fill it. This is being paid for, no charity work. Pésimo.
They have terrible food. Yesterday I was stupid enough to get a burito there. The taste was like a plastic. My stomach is in terrible condition after that burito. I think I need to go to emergency.
