We celebrated a birthday at Athena, and had 15 people reservation. Everything went perfectly. The Greek music band was great and very entertaining. We all had so much fun dancing until past midnight. The manager and the staff could not have been any more helpful or nicer.
If you want to appear in Greece without leaving Los Angeles, Athena Restaurant is the place for you. Incredible traditional Greek food (we learned that the Chef is from Greece), live Greek music and excellent customer service. Our server Arin went above and beyond to satisfy our request for a traditional Greek cocktail. He made Ouzo Margarita that tasted like sunrise and smelled like a fresh breeze on the white sand beach in Greece… unforgettable feeling.We will be back soon to try their famous seafood.
We really enjoyed our Saturday night at Athena! Loved the Greek band and singer from Greece, DJ and the food! I would recommend this Greek Restaurant 100% if you like to eat well and also dance!!!
Do not waste your time or money there. The service and food is bad. It tastes like leftovers. This restaurant is not worth paying the price it is asking for.

Athena had excellent food. The service was incredible and i really enjoyed my time. There was a nice ambience and i loved the live music. overall athena was great and you should check it out !! make sure to try the seafood combo.
The food is exceptional (try the salmon filet and the cheese platter)!The patio is a beautiful place for private events AND they have live music.
I am Greek and when I found this place online I got really excited and was looking forward to it. Came on a Friday night ordered 2 dishes and appetizer. The Saganaki should be flambed tableside but instead was coated in Panko and served barely warm. The fish was really dry and the pastitsio tasted nothing like it should. It was tasteless and lacked any Greek flavors. I'm really tired of Armenians trying to pawn off their cooking as Greek. The cuisine is nothing alike. The waiter seemed confused but an 18% gratuity was added to the check leaving us no option to be dissatisfied with service. Terrible food and expensive
Horrible food. Dry fish. To expensive for quality of food. Added 18 percent on bill for not good service.
Wonderful place. The house red wine was delicious. Great atmosphere, food was perfect, I wish I shared more of our food because it was so good!
