Was great! Went with my family -huge sushi lovers -and they dove right in and loved everything.
Worst sushi we've ever had.The rolls were super soft, falling apart between the chopsticks. Flavor of the rolls wasn't good, tasted very plain, no flavorful fish. Spicy Mayo sauce had a weird taste to it, almost like it's bad.We all had stomach pain after going there.Only good thing: the Chicken Teriyaki roll
The host told us 25 minute wait for two people to which I said okay that’s fine. Another woman walked up and stood next to the door where I was waiting when another hostess came out and gave her the table I was apparently waiting on. When the male host came back out he told us they gave the table away and he would get us another table. We waited a few minutes and made the walk to the back of the restaurant with the host where they told us they had given the table away to a reservation. So they gave away our table twice and we just left. Not a pleasant experience whatsoever.
Our first visit to this place. Staff are unfriendly. As I opened the door to get in, one of the waitress yelled at me to wait outside. We waited about 10 min outside. We ordered combo plates of chicken teriyaki and spicy tuna roll. First of all, chicken teriyaki is stir-fried chicken. Which tasted odd and old. The tuna in my roll was bright red color, obviously to conceal the freshness of the fish. I doubt that was actually tuna. I was too scared to eat them - only 1 slice of the roll. I will not be returning to this place.
Been here multiple times. The sushi is always amazing but the servers are always super slow, don't check in on you to see if you need anything and have got our order wrong more then one occasion. Not a good place if you're looking for a quick lunch
I called in my order, arrived a half hour later when they told me to. Then waited outside for another hour because she said they were busy before I got my food. Maybe they should have just gave me the real time to avoid annoying customers.
Wife and I had date night here. We thought it was some of the best sushi we've ever had locally. Service is always very fast turning around seats.
I got the spiderman roll and it was good! I also recommend the chicken teriyaki roll, can't go wrong with that! This is our favorite sushi place. It's delicious with surprisingly low prices. The waiter that served us last Saturday at 4 pm was fast and efficient even though she was the only one! Get them some help, manager/owner!!! Whether you dine in, take out or deliver this place is worth it.
Great place for sushi in Gilroy. Fish is always fresh. Service can be slow sometimes, but overall is generally good. Portions are a little larger than average. Price is consistent with the going rate of sushi restaurants. The atmosphere is OK. Sports on TVs, and there is an outdoor dining area. I enjoyed my meal and will return.
My husband and I come here often. Food is always good, as well as their service, but sometimes it takes forever to get our food. Sometimes it's not even busy and we have waited over 45mins for a cucumber, shrimp salad and a roll. Sometimes one of us will get our food and when that person is done, the other one will than get their food. After we order we always say, let's see who eats first today. Other than that, it's a good place and we will continue eating here.
