Today at 9pm I went to the drive thru to order. I go to the window because the speaker was not working. There are three young boys at the window. One opens the window and I begin to talk to start my order and he closes the window on me. I wait for a while, thinking he went to get something done but he is just standing, talking to the other two boys there. They see I’m there waiting and ignore me. If they were closed, they could have let me know. It’s not that hard. I would have understood. Being rude was not necessary.
Went to Sonic in Gilroy was so disappointed we had to download their app just to order the food. Tater tots were cold chicken strips were cold. Order an Oreo shake didn’t get it. Went to go ask for it they were out of Oreo. So I ordered something else was out of whip cream. SERIOUSLY Sonic!!!!! Payed close to $40 dollars and the American dogs order taste like it wasn’t cooked all the way threw both hot dogs away. Sonic lost my business I rather give u half a star cause the slushy were the only thing good.
Stop by for lunch on back to back Saturdays. Did not get any service when I pressed the red button to order. Second time here it said to use mobile app to make order quicker. App doesn't work for this location. Many upset customers waiting in stalls. Never coming back to this Gilroy location.
It's not the food why I am giving it a one star the reason is the service they need more people taking orders.I drive up to the service outside pressed the red for service button it stated will be right with you. Me and my grandkids waited 20 minutes.I got tried and the kids said they were hungry so I just lift disappointed. I went there once before a couple of years ago the service time was still the same but they kept getting are order wrong.

Disappointed 4 times, won't go back. EVERY time I've parked & tried to order, they tell me they are only doing drive thru. Hello! It's a drive-in! That's part of the nostalgia of a place like this. They just let you sit there and when you order, they say we have to do drive thru. They are frequently out of what is on the menu. The food hasn't been fresh nor very good; thrown together like slop. The last straw was receiving a completely different order on the road after I left. That was it. This place needs a clean up on multiple fronts.
The customer service I received tonight was horrible. (01/22/22 at @ 8:29 PM). My boyfriend ordered a #3 with no mayo, lettuce or tomato, add ketchup and mustard. Fries and a coke. The associate repeated the order back to us over the intercom and we proceeded in the line. We approached the window and the cashier repeats the order back to us “a #3 with no tomato” which was incorrect. I immediately told the associate that the order was incorrect and advised of the correct order. The cashier proceeds to tell us that there is nothing they can do about it…So we left!!! (Not to mention I am allergic to tomatoes) I understand it being rush hour as a restaurant owner myself, but this could’ve been handled more professionally. Being that it was their fault and no acknowledgement or accountability was shown is POOR SERVICE! The cashier could’ve simply asked us to pull into a parking spot and wait for the order to be redone while they handled other customers. I am very disappointed and will never return to this location during my future road travel. Please take this review into deep consideration and improve on the customer service at this location!
Best for slush, shakes, and blasts. Not keen on the food. Grape Cranberry is my choice, and my wife loves the strawberry shake with real bits of strawberry in it.
When ever I come to Gilroy I have to always stop here their slushes are so good you gotta try them
Not impressed. Don't know why they have so many commercials on tv when the food is mediocre. When it comes to fast food this is definitely my least favorite.
