The good: the roasted garlic was amazing beef medallions were very good the drink prices were great. The bad: Restaurant was fairly empty and it took a while to be helped Ordered drinks and watch them sit at the bar, server came by and said oh you don’t have your drinks? Our entrees arrived before our soup and salad The soup was not warm, lacked flavor and since we ate the same dinner, we assume the soup aka clam chowder was not fresh because my husband got very ill. The Nightmare: The owner was so loud. He actually swore at customers with children! As the evening progressed he got louder and louder. He spoke to the employees like crap. He walked around and barked orders in front of his customers. It was so rude! My husband and I laughed that we got dinner and a show. I would not bring my children here for the fact they don’t need to hear him swearing and I would not come back if I wanted a nice quiet dinner. For dinner with tip $150.00, I think we willspent our money elsewhere next time.
After 20 years in NorCal we finally stopped to have lunch here. We had a Thai chicken wrap and the Very Veggie wrap. Both were superb. Kudos for the taste of the marinated chicken! French fries were hot and crisp. Service was prompt and professional. The ambience is clearly unique and adds to the revival of downtown Gilroy.
Had a very early dinner, 330ish. Great atmosphere, service and the food was amazing! Had the Shrimp and Scallops..yummy! Hubby had the Ribeye perfection! Service was great too! Hadn't eaten there in quite some time but has the laid back wow factor!
I had a solo dinner here while I was in the town on business. They had a great patio outside with gas heaters, so I almost sat out there, but when I realized they were singing karaoke (Saturday night) I opted to sit at a table in the bar area looking out at the patio. The roasted garlic was amazing! I probably could have eaten all three heads that came as an appetizer, but I was worried it might keep me up. (FYI, no problems with two!) I also had some of the yummy potato soup and a local draft beer. Great dinner!
Food was just okay. Our server Araceli was great! It was very busy with less waitstaff than they needed but we got the service because she was working fast and did a great job.
They have indoor and outdoor dining. Food delicious, waitresses very friendly and helpful!
Nice local restaurant. Great for events. Really good food and a welcoming staff. Fun karaoke night on Saturday and pasta night on Thursday. I definitely recommend it!
4 of us had dinner here on Wednesday evening. The food was great and the portions large. 2 of us had the Flat Iron steak and it melts in your mouth and the seasoning was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Filet Mignon and daughter enjoyed her Steak Medallians. Generous pour on the wine also. The service was excellent, and they were very attentive. My only complaint would be the noise from the nearby bar, and the noise from the line dancing upstairs. We will be back, but maybe not on a Wednesday night. Overall, very impressed.
