I cannot stand it!That's right. It's So darn good!It's a hole in the wall sort of speak with authentic great tasting mexican food. The customer service there is something to be proud of. Everytime I visit Gilroy I make sure to stop there for lunch dinner and enjoy there painted walls and food. Never out rageously loud just right. Great plus for Gilroy.
I'm from Michigan. We don't see chile verde on the menu at home. I ordered it at Los Pericos and I wasn't disappointed. Yummy! The service was terrific.
Stopped here on the way back to Socal, just like a typical Mex place, they serve chips and salsa ... nothing spectacular. I ordered chicken fajitas and they have the big burrito. I was actually not impressed with the chicken fajitas ... burnt and flavor wasn't that good. The server even forgot to give tortillas and I kept waiting until finally I asked. Overall I wasn't that impressed and for the price it was expensive considering it's not that all good. I gave 3 stars just because my friend liked the big burrito.
Bad costumer service it seems they have a lot of people working but only one cashier. Ordered a birria quesadilla. The chef did not want to make the quesadilla. The birria had no flavor i had to add salt, salsa, and limon. It was still not good I'm not coming back again. Their birria is not good.
Their food is amazing and they have handmade tortillas.. those are a treat! The food is very tasty and they have a good variety to choose from.

We found this place on yelp and glad we did. The place isn't very big but the food and service was great. We will defbe going back when we are nearby.
I've lived in Gilroy for a year now and have tried almost every single Mexican restaurant, and this is the one that I keep going back to.

Was in town for Thanksgiving weekend and was brought here by family, and I have to say the food was delicious! Would definitely go back.
