Stopped by to check the place out today.Nice, clean and modern. Seemed to have a pretty solid beer listing. Grabbed a burger fry combo with a draft beer. $19 after Tip. Not a terrible price as it came with a craft beer.Burger was decent, fresh toppings on a good bun, but seemed like the patty was pre cooked as it was barely warm.Fries were hot and fresh but could use some seasoning.Staff polite.I’ll come back and try the burger again to see if I was here on a off day.
Overall: Brew City Burgers isn't bad for the price range. Some of the big wins on my visit were fast and friendly service, a clean and modern facility, and competitive prices as far as sit-down burger places go.Unfortunately, I don't think Brew City stacks up well against other fast-casual burger joints in the area. I was pretty underwhelmed by the taste of my burger and garlic fries: both tasted fairly basic and bland. When I opened the box to my garlic fries, I also noticed that the parmesan and garlic was clumped together; it wasn't the most visually appealing.Had this burger been more expensive, I'd probably be more critical, but even at its competitive price point it's probably worth it to shell out a couple more bucks and eat somewhere else. Brew City has a lot going for them; if they improved on flavor, I'd probably be back often.
This fast food style restaurant is located on 1st street in The Patio shopping center. They have indoor dining and a drive thru. My favorites are the crispy chicken sandwich with their signature smokey sauce and their build your own salads, as they are fresh and a very large portion. The salads start with Mixed greens and you are allowed 6 toppings to choose from including: Cherry tomatoes, roasted beets, garbanzo beans, crunch quinoa, blue cheese crumbles, sunflower seeds, cucumbers, roasted corn, red onion, tortilla strips, super seed mix (chia, hemp, flax), green peas, radishes, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, black beans and kidney beans. They have six dressings to choose from including champagne vinaigrette (my favorite), Chilli lime vinaigrette, apple cider vinaigrette, hidden valley ranch, green goddess and chunky blue cheese. You can also upgrade your salad for an additional cost with and Angus beef patty, vegan patty, bacon, avocado, and grilled or crispy chicken. They have beer, handspun milkshakes and ice cream too!
I like the simple menu...you come here for burgers and beer. They're fries are perfect. Hope they can offer sweet pototo fries soon because they know how to fry a root veggie. The milk shakes are truly satisfying ice cream shakes. My vegan friends like the salads with all the options.
A wonderful addition to Gilroy. My visits have been limited to burgers and fries—they are so good that I've never thought to try anything else. It's a nice option to pick from a craft beer instead of a soft drink. (In most of the world, this is a common option even at McDonalds. Nice to see it making headway in the US.)One small complaint, even though the restaurant is relatively new, the outdoor seating already feels rickety and unsafe.
Good food! Fast service! Mostly eat indoors but the patio is a nice option in the summertime. Thanks John and the BCB team!
Good burgers. Better fries. Nice local craft beers available, even as part of a combo meal. I got the beer, garlic burger and garlic fries combo. Was$17.00... not bad for a combo that included a tasty beer.
Great fresh food! Crispy chicken sandwich is my favorite. Ice cream sundaes were good and the salad selections are excellent.
Best burger joint in town! The crispiest fries, juicy burgers with the best, freshest toppings. And beer? Hand made shakes? Seriously! Amazing food. Lots of options
The Vegan burger is the best and I Love ordering beer at the drivethru
