The waiter pulled the kimchi up out of the stew and began to cut it. It looked so so good! They have us a side of brown rice which was also good and small cups of water. The sourness of the aged kimchi was strong but I really enjoyed it. The stew also had mushrooms, green onions and rice cakes! I will say this dish is not for the light hearted and if you’ve never had kimchi then try something else.. but I love kimchi and this stew was so so delicious! We had plenty left over also which we enjoyed the next day too!

The knee had just tendons with no bones, easier to eat for me.Aged kimchi pork rib was really sour and spicy, which I like. It was a big portion and good for two people.The banchan comes with kimchi and kkadugi. I don't believe they used fish or shrimp sauce/paste in their kimchi, so the taste was sour and more refreshing. Kkadugi was typical.Will come back to try other dishes.

I enjoyed the food here! Amazing galbi and Sullungtang! Their soup ? was pretty special as it's not watery, unlike most restaurants. Also, they are not too salty nor pepper ish.The reason for me not giving 5-star is their pricing. I can't help but compare this restaurant with Sun Nong Dan and most of their dishes are pretty similar in taste but their pricing is $2-$4 more expensive. Overall good experience, I will still come back in the future though! ??
Food quality is one of the best. No shortcut to prepare famous sullungtang. Place is also very clean. I saw lots older patrons. Indicates, good quality.

First time trying here ordered gochujang pork bbq and suckuh sullungtang for breakfast for take out, it was spot on best I've had.. so glad I found this spot it'll be my go-to spot for sullungtang from now on and gonna be trying out all their menu's, fast and attentive services.. their kimchi was awesome too, can't ask for anything more 5 stars, best in southbay, hell it's best in greater Los Angeles!!!! The waitress recommended I order their Seokkuh Sullungtang, and it did not disappoint! The bone broth was so rich and creamy, no doubt the best Korean restaurant in Gardena. Will be returning again!
Went with a friend for lunch and shared the galbi-jjim with cheese add on. The little fire show was very entertaining, never seen anything like it here.
