Everything looked and tasted great
WHAT A RIP OFF. I paid $8 for 5 pieces of sashimi and was served one piece of old sushi that was finely chopped into 5 pieces. I also was given the wrong roll and it was tasteless. Lastly, the ginger came prepackaged and was warm. This is a common experience with ALL of the restaurants at Daisy Diner. All the kitchens are tucked away and the apps disallow you to engage with employees on a service based level. Come to this establishment if you want to pay for overpriced, carelessly made food.
sushi is not fresh, same quality as the sushi they sell at 7-eleven. spent $80 on 6-7 rolls & disappointed in the quality of the food, could have spent the same on sushi from a real sushi place that makes it fresh.

Rolls were fantastic. Definitely ordering again... Its too bad people write blatantly false reviews but this restaurant will drown those out
I do not recommend !. I do not even to give a star at all . My sushi had A roach in it . I felt so sick . I threw up for so long do not eat here .

The perfect platter for 1 to 4 people! Depending on how hungry you are or since we can't share food!
We were here to celebrate a family member's birthday and he is a big sushi fan. As one of the oldest sushi restaurants in LA, Kanpachi did not disappoint. While it was not necessarily cheap, the sushi was fresh especially the Bluefin Toro ($8 per piece) and Sea Urchin. The Kumamoto oyster was delightful. Since we had a large party, we had to be placed in the private room. There was a call bell in the room just like any Japanese restaurants in Japan and the waitress can't be any nicer. The restaurant is not huge. They have a party room with 6 to 7 people, three booths fitting two to four people, and a long sushi table. While it might not the ideal place for a large party, I will recommend it as a nice date restaurant for couples and a small 2-3 people friends gathering.
