Good selection of ramen and side dishes, served by friendly and efficient staff. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a drive through.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Been to the Little Tokyo & Fountain Valley locations and tonight Gardena 2 Go location. On my way back home from Los Angeles decided to finally try this location.Place was clean, organized, decent service, and a large menu to choose from.I ordered the Spicy Hakata #2 Ramen ?, my wife ordered their Tonkatsu Ramen, & a side order of Karage Chicken for our daughter.Everything was delicious and both Ramen bowls came with a side of fried onions which you use as a topping for your ramen. I didn't remember the other two locations doing this, however it added just the right touch to the Ramen experience. We will return to try other items on the menu. They have quite a few items that you just cannot get on your first visit.Really good spot for Ramen with authentic flavors and quality aspects in Japanese cuisine.

Not surprising... But clean. Restrooms are clean. Reasonable price.

I've been a loyal customer since they opened the first restaurant in Gardena in 1992.However, It is such a disappointment to find out they started compromising with their quality control since the pandemic, if not completely given up.Rice they served me was gone dried, at least a day + old, yakitori had turned jerky,, probably a day old and the Ramen soup was a bit on the colder side than it really should be.You used to expect nothing but the perfection from Shinsengumi every day every visit. Is it because their major clientele has turned into a group of non Japanese since Toyota moved out to Texas? You find no Japanese pride and passion in what they do anymore. Will check out the main restaurant one day but never coming back to this place.

I usually go here to get my ramen and yakitori fix for lunch but lately I have been having issues with them. Just yesterday, I ordered 3 beef tongue skewers and I ended up with 0.They mixed up my order so badly that I ended up with skewers I didn’t even order. I could of checked before I left but I was cutting it close to work time. It’s sad because all the missing skewers were but more pricier.I didn’t even get the quantity of skewers I ordered. Not only I paid for something I didn’t get but I also got ripped off by getting skewers costing less than what I paid for. Please check the order before you leave. Just to make sure you got all that you have paid for.

I have been craving oyakudon but don't want to walk in any buildings (because I don't want any covid exposure) and this place hit both of my goals!! And the food was delicious! This is an authentic Japanese food place and it's a drive thru!!! Truly a covid friendly place because it's stated to walk in or to go to the drive thru it's posted to wear a mask and for sure they were social distancing!!!If your craving any Japanese food except sushi this is the place to drive too!!Note: it's in the same shopping center as the 99cent store and the KuRa rotating sushi belt restaurant!Address:18203 S Western Ave #104, Gardena, CA 90248Hours:Open daily 10am-9pmCheck out the menu by looking at my photos

I'm so happy I found Shin-Sen-Gumi 2Go! I love the fact that it has a drive-thru. They're speedy and efficient! I'm never waiting long! The ramen is so yummy, and it hits the spot on a cold day. My daughter and I always get the #1 Hakata Ramen. It's delicious, and I enjoy that the noodles and broth are separate, making more enjoyable when you're ready to eat it together once you're ready to dig in. My hubby loves the #2, Spicy Hakata Ramen. He enjoys spicy food, so that's his go-to ramen. Their Gyozas are tasty and satisfies my potsticker craving. I definitely recommend Shin-Sen-Gumi if you need a quick ramen fix!

Restaurant on Redondo Beach Blvd is by far the better place. I love Ramen, and this place was disappointing. I ordered a Shoyu Ramen. When I received my order, they gave me warm broth ( hot is better ) and not enough .

Came here for dinner at 7:20pm and they were out of the two of the ramens I wanted. Hakata out

Love the setup they have. Cafeteria feel with good tasting ramen. I work walking distance so I come here all the time. My personal favorite is the spicy hakata ramen. Get it with an egg. So yum. And I tried some karaage today and was not too seasoned but very soft and slight crisp but very satisfying chicken. I actually really loved it with the broth on the side. Definitely liked my combination for lunch today. Try it !!!
