Was having a yard sale and my friend said I'm hungry and I'm buying, i said I'm flying to get lunch. Had the teri burger omg, so good, tender, tasty and the teriyaki sauce was so good , only gripe they go to fast, lol. Ordered two burgers two drinks for 18 and change, oh and the two drinks were the pina colada. Have been the ove before and had the chicken teri bowl , didn't care for it, but i care for the burger.
God tier teriyaki. Best I’ve had in California! The portions are insanely huge and the price is right. I always go when I’m in the area. I’m sure the other stuff is great but all I want is the chicken teriyaki!
I was there the other day and noticed that nothing has changed since I graduated from Gardena High in '72 and that's a good thing. It is probably the only restaurant left in California that makes authentic Teriyaki. Many restaurants just cook chicken or beef and pour teriyaki sauce from a bottle. That's not teriyaki. Keep up the good work!!
Omg yall. The Teriyaki burger is so good i had it twice in one week. A single the first time and a double the next! I actually didnt care for the chicken bowl because the rice was so mushy. Stiill no stars off due to that burger!
Pitburger has been making California fusion food before it was trendy. There is even a knockoff a few miles away (Pitstop Burger). Has anyone ever been fooled?Sometimes a restaurant fills a niche so well that the staff can fill the place with boxes, refuse credit cards and make customers stand around while their food is cooked... Yet people gladly chat about this local gem in anticipation of the paper sack of salt and greaseAt least ordering is easy. If recommend a teriyaki burger or a double teriyaki burger or a triple Teriyaki pit Burger. They are filled with sloppy and succulent teriyaki, and some sort of american cheese. And fries.The menu is a bit larger. I've never tried
The Pit is the temple of teriyaki. Three generation of my wife’s family have made the pilgrimage for over 30 years.The teriyaki beef or chicken plates are served with a toasted buttered hamburger bun, shredded cabbage with thousand island dressing topped with dill chips. The charbroiled beef or chicken are served over white steamed rice. Thegrill master then smothers them with his teriyaki brush full of teriyaki sauce. I believe the teriyaki can is the same one since I started going their in 1992. I believe this old can instills the sauce with umami. Cash is king there. No credit cards accepted.

For a special treat we love to go here for pit burger then have double pit burgers. It is teriyaki beef thinly sliced .. they do have chicken too. they have Teri plates and bowls also great. For a bit of nostalgia they have orange bang drinks. Take out only but has been there a long time a lot of people pre order then pick up
Ok. So cash only. Yup. We had to drive all over the place!! It was worth it. We got the Teriyaki Plate, one with chicken and one with beef. I snuck in an Orange Bang.
Delicious fresh teriyaki with generous portions and sauce. Great flavor, not too salty and the chicken was cooked just right.
