This place definitely needs an upgrade. It's really old looking & I couldn't read the health code in the window. It was really faded I think it was a C but I took a chance anyway. Going against my better judgment, well that will never happen again. I got the chicken fried rice. The rice was hard which means it was probably old & you could taste the old grease. Everything tasted old if you asked me. It didn't taste like any other Peruvian food, I've ever had. I didn't like it! I won't be going back or nor will I be recommending anyone else to go there. Another downside they have the nerve to only take cash. Probably so you won't dispute the payment for nasty food.
I was there last Saturday with my family my 2 little son my husband and my daughter and I notice something wrong with the food later in the afternoon my son get sick diarrhea I when to hospital and emergency room my son get really sick and after that all my family..this a shame I never back to this restaurant again becareful with this is really serious with all family get sick at this restaurant.
Terrible place. Food was awful and the place is falling apart, old and dirty. A complete disappointment. Should be closed down.
The restaurant is very small. The setting is pretty similar to a chinesse -to go - restaurant Didn't like the food at all. I ordered a lomo Saltado $16. About 5 pieces of meet which were very salty, about 4 french fries and the rest was onions. The worst part is that the amount of oil they used..it was insane. When I ate the rice I felt that I was dumped in some kind of liquid and I taught it was the sauce from the food. To my surprise it was oil. At the bottom of the box you could see all the oil. Very disappointing, not going back
Lomo saltado had about 5 small pieces of beef there was almost no taste to this dish
Flavor is good, prior to Pandemic they really were bad at having enough food late in the day to serve. Asked for pan fried chicken and was told it too early. Another time went in for a late dinner and many items were no longer available since they didn't have any left overs... also cash only!

Always love going there, but...
Best Peruvian food in town.
Great Peruvian food. If you want to get a great meal (soup, lunch plate) for a great deal this is the place to go. The lunch menu changes daily with more than 4 options to choose from. They also have many traditional Peruvian dishes a la carte. Recomend the Ceviche Mixto.
