I've had many amazing times here with friends. Get the spicy pork-belly and the steamed egg. The staff is amazing and the water is super nice. The stoves always work and the temperature is so perfect you can't even notice. The environment of the place is just right to laugh with your friends for an hour or two while you enjoy plenty of all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.
This is, hands down, the best, friendliest, most warm and inviting Korean barbecue spot I have ever been to. Everyone here acts like this restaurant is their own and treats their clientele as such. I constantly bring friends here and they’re impressed. I can’t wait to eat here again.
Parking is limited. Food was ok, thought it was pricey. Ordered B all you can eat $38 per person. Place was full. Not alot tables. We went on a Sunday night there was 8 of us. Would suggest reservations
I don't understand why this place is popular. It was not a good experience. Normally the quality of the food would have to make up the difference but it doesn't. The seats are small and uncomfortable stools. The tables are tiny and you feel cramped. I kept getting bumped. I didn't like the setup. All the juice fell through the wire grill and it quickly leads to burning food. It also allowed the smell of the gas fire to come through and it never stopped till they turned off the grill. There was small plastic sheets hanging from the ceiling to divide the grills but you'd be very uncomfortable to have to sit bumped up against the other person. The quality was good not great. The bulgogi was thick but you couldn't cook it in the juice. There aren't many meat choices for the $36 you are paying. Their salad, which in other places has mixed greens, is made from cabbage and didn't compliment the dressing. They have reddish sheets and rice sheets and the other usual sides. The service was pretty good, not great. I didn't really pay attention to anything else.I recommend waiting the hour and a half to get into Gen or you get the soju so you can numb the pain of the experience and price. Not worth it and definitely not for groups larger than 4.
FactsCons: Too crampedTables were very low to the groundTables were too small for the activity. The price was 36 dollars per personPlates were small not worth itPros:Meat was goodWaitresses were attentive and very polite
Amazing varieties of delicious food! Nice environment.
Pretty pricey even for the cheapest option. Food was okay and the sides where whatever. You get a small plates of meat for whatever you order and while you can argue that its all you can eat, I can assure you that there are far better places out there that won't hurt your wallet and give you a far better experience both value and quality.
The quality of meat is amazing at this place and it's a steal for a place in the South Bay. The service is also top notch even on the busiest of nights. I'd recommend to go with a party no larger than four as the dining area and stools are quite small and could be uncomfortable when you're seating around a small area. Highly recommended!
By far probably one of the worst experiences I've had eating food at a restraunt. This rating is not specifically for the food but for the experience. The food is decent but not worth the price or experience. I do not see myself going back, or recommending it to anyone. Unfortunately I don't think it was because of covid either, it seems this place is designed to be a little cramped. I am 5'5 and went with a party of 4. I was the shortest person and I felt like I had no space. My friends complained about not being able to move and barely being able to sit in the chairs.Another thing is after we had ordered 2 plates of meat, our third order took 20+ minutes to get for some reason. While we were seated two other new tables were sat and they got their meats before we did. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but when they walk up to you after 20 minutes and ask what you want to order and you remind them you've already ordered it's halirously bad for everyone involved. It was incredibly loud and alive. So loud that we could not hear each other from 3 feet away unless we were yelling. We also arrived at 9pm, got told they were doing LAST CALL at 10pm. Even though the place closes at 11pm. Obviously we did not put up a fight even though we did not nearly have as much as we could eat. We ended up leaving/paying around 10:15.What really left a bad taste in our mouths is being ignored whether it was just a slip of the mind or miscommunication. Then being told it's last call an hour before close (which kind of makes sense but also we were waiting for the meat). Then getting slapped with a 50+$ per person bill just really made us all laugh. After this because we were still hungry we went to go get tacos and talk about the bad experience we had. I do think maybe we just had really bad luck, but theres just no way I could recommend this place based on that experience.
Would probably go lower if I could.Pros: Decent FoodCons:Poor ServiceIncluding Tip into final bill then requesting another tip after thatPrice is significantly higher compared to similar places (Gen imo better quality everything for only $22/Person)Extremely uncomfortable seating especially if you're on the taller sideBarely any table room to actually even manage to meat if you come with 4+ peopleFinally Story Time:So, 3 Friends and I decided to go to KBBQ we saw this place was open till 11pm so when we got seated at 9pm we figured we had plenty of time. To start off As others have mentioned they rush your first order of meat before you've even had a chance to inspect the menu as if you should just automatically know exactly what cuts of meat you want.We order some basic fillers just to start drinks + brisket. The plate of brisket they brought for 4 people boiled down to 3 slices per person we were confused but figured we'd just order more.We order more Brisket and some other items and the waitress goes off... 15min go by she comes back asking if we need more meat, we inform her we're still waiting for our first order......20 more min go by, still nothing. Mind you they've changed our grill twice now when we literally haven't had anything on it. We finally flag down a server how seems annoyed we flagged them down and place another order assuming they some how lost the first.By the time we get out next round it's roughly 9:45pm we figure no big deal we'll have time to eat our fill. At 9:50 they come up to us and inform us that last call is already being called and we can only get more 1 round of meat despite the hours say 11pmThe bill came out to be $200 for 4 people with a roughly 20% tip already included, but of course they don't tell you that, then after you pay the bill give you a slot to deliver yet another tip for the extreme lack of service.Needless to say we did not have AYCE that night. If we were able to at least actually have the AYCE experience this review may have been closer to a 3 start, but we literally left still hungry (again their portions are extremely small for the fact that you have a party of 4) and ended up going to a cheap taco place after to help fill up
