I had breakfast delivery. The grits were under seasoned as was the chicken wings. I order grits with cheese and that’s basically where I got my flavor. Off the top. The crust of the chicken was seasoned, just not the chicken itself.
They need a machine instead of a pen to check their bills. The lady told me my bill was counterfeit. It wasn't. She said she'd wait for us to come back. We did. They were closed. We went to R&R. It was good.... But I wanted Matthew's. I was embarrassed and insulted and hungry. Next time I'll go with all single dollar bills.
Matthews Home Style is amazing. My husband & I have tried just about every item on the menu we have never been disappointed. The portion size are large enough to have left overs the next day. Everything is always seasoned to perfection. Not to mention they have a full bar! They have about a dozen specialty cocktails & more. We eat here a minimum 3 times a week. The ambiance is very nice. Restaurant decor is classy. Tables & chairs are nicely designed. Lots of room inside & outside as they have an enclosed outdoor patio with a fireplace. If you’re looking for a home cooked meal this is your spot.
Black Owned Business. The Food is Great and the Owner is Black & Asian, so she has lots of Family recipes on the menu. 5 Star Location.
Okay I tried to give this place a second chance and they failed me again I’ll rather give a serial killer a chance to kill me again before I spend another dime here the food is horrible and pricey for small portions I don’t know who’s the cook but who told you that you can cook?your gravy tasted sour by the way
