Got the Lau lau plate to go and it was just as delicious as dining in.The Lau Lau was wrapped in foil to keep in all the flavors until I opened it up to reveal a large portion.Rice was in it's own container and there was a lot of it.Mac salad was good and the salad is always a delight.Order was called in and ready when I arrived. Service always great.

Friendly and fast service. Family run place. Laid back atmosphere. No blaring TV or loud music. Not all drinks are refillable. Good sized servings.
The spicy tuna roll was on fire hot. The teriyaki beef in the sandwich was tough and chewy. The service was about average. It is reminicint of the older Japanese-American diners.

We love this place. Japanese/Hawaiian food done properly and really inexpensive. My wife gets the Chicken Katsu which comes with macaroni salad, green salad and rice. I get the Kalbi and Salmon combo and just get it with all salad. Both of us take food home every time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We drive almost half an hour to get here but it’s worth it.
Great Hawaiian and Japanese food there.
