A Hidden Gem! Truly amazing how hidden and delicious it is. I came on A Monday around lunchtime, the place was buzzing. The menu has a variety of Hawaiian and Asian foods. I got the Hawaiian Royal with friend rice! Super delicious! My mom got the French toast that were big and fluffy! And super tasty. Coffee was good and the price was the best part! Definitely something worth checking out when In the area. The chef doesn’t disappoint!!!

If you want delicious Asian/Hawaiian food, this is the spot. I had the breakfast with their homemade Portuguese sausage and I devoured it. My bestie had the bacon ? fried rice and she said it was delicious. She also ordered the garlic fried chicken which was cooked in karaage style. She said it was crispy and very juicy. The portions are very generous. It's a little hole in the wall place but the staff were very attentive and the food scrumptious ? And the prices are super reasonable for the quality and amount of food you receive.

Excellent local spot, food is Hawaiian diner style. Oxtail soup was good ? I didn't get to bowl but did play pool and the tables are nicely kept.

As David Chang has noted, you wouldn’t expect such bomb food in a bowling alley, but lo and behold, Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop exists. Came here on a Monday evening with two other friends around 6:30pm and the parking lot was already full. There is street parking available. The restaurant is unassuming but the food is delicious and portions are generous. Credit cards are accepted. You order at the counter first and then sit down. Indoor dining only. Takeout is also available.I got the Hawaiian Royal, which everyone seems to get for their first visit. It’s on the sweeter side (which is good for me) and very filling - I had a very hearty lunch the next day. My friends got the loco moco and garlic chicken respectively, and both liked their food a lot. The garlic chicken in particular has good flavor and comes with rice, mac salad, and broccoli. The employees were nice and everyone eating there seemed to be a local. Overall, it’s got hole-in-the-wall vibes, but you won’t regret coming here.

2pm late lunch on Monday, a friend drove me to her diner in the bowling place in her hood as a child. One young man show. He rocked it. Took phone orders, sat customers, took table orders, served the food and bussed tables etc...all in a decent mood. Not once was he rude to anyone nor crabby during this rush. The food reminded me of Hawaiian style. Nice portions enough to take home.

Best Hawaiian food on this side of the Pacific Ocean. There are several quality Hawaiian food joints around the South Bay, and this is the closest to a restaurant you might see on Kapahulu, down the street from Leonard's. I've noticed that lots of Hawai'i expats tend to agree. The saimin, loco moco, kalua pig, and teriyaki beef skewers are all big winners - but really, the whole menu is pretty stellar. I've heard the oxtail soup is also killer. Portions are very generous, and prices are reasonable. The service is diner style. Very friendly and helpful, but this joint is almost always packed, so be patient with the one or two folks working.

Best kept secret in town! Thee best food!!! Seriously....I won't say food is good if it isn't. If you're looking for a variety of delicious, hot, inexpensive food then this is your spot. Friendly staff. I'd eat there every day if I could. Excellent food....no lie.

Gardena Bowl coffee shop is a staple for locals here in Gardena. I’ve been going there since I was about 12yrs old, and for one of the best Hawaiian/Japanese dishes around this hidden gem is where you want to go! So many things to choose from like the Hawaiian Royal, bacon fried rice, Moco Locos to the Hawaiian French toast or banana pancakes and so much more!

Great small cafe housed in the lobby of a bowling alley. Has a lot of variety at a reasonable price, would recommend!
