Super cute restaurant. Come here if you want very cozy, lowkey vibes. The seafood nabe was good, although portion was kind of small for the price. All the sushi and nigiri was solid, like you’d expect from any humble Japanese restaurant. Super extensive menu, so a lot of options to try from!
This place is underrated and should deserve more "LIKE"! Very authentic family style Japanese Kappo restaurant. This place is very small but it is very comfortable inside. I highly recommend the grilled oyster, sushi, sashimi, black cod and the signature chirashi bowl. Their sashimi is very fresh and the chirashi bowl is worth the price. The restaurant is located inside a small plaza next to the famous Japanese Nagomi Cake house.Quick tips: This place will take some time to prepare your foods. Just chill and be patient.
We tried to go there and they said no seating unless you had a reservation and they must have had 10 empty spaces at the sushi bar and at 3 or 4 tables. We felt more like it was some kind of racial prejudice thing maybe not
Had such a beautiful dinner here - will definitely be back! The sushi and sashimi were delicious, and all of the cooked dishes were fantastic. Service was exceptional. A very special place!
Great quality and fresh food, excellent customer service.
Maybe the ONLY traditional family style Kappo in North America. Food are super delicious and full of heart and soul.
I have only tasted the bento but these are the best bento I have ever tasted. Perfected cooked and balanced. I will drive far to buy these bento. Can’t wait to come here for dinner
Excellent kappo Japanese cuisine. Local mom and pop run business that checks all the boxes.
