I am utterly disgusted and beyond upset?! I purchased 2 lbs of Catfish filet and am unable to eat because it was way too salty??? It’s like the cook just pour salt directly on the fish and didn’t stop until it was covered entirely??! I have never gotten fish from Fishbone and it was overly salty?? This was my last and final time coming here and I won’t be back!!! It seems like most restaurants have really suffered from the pandemic and are still suffering?!! It’s like everywhere you go it’s new staff and never consistent people….like what is going on?! I am beyond DONE with Fishbone…whoever the cook was before they need to bring him back because the current cook cannot FRY fish!!! And just because I’m black doesn’t mean I want my food overly salty….I want it seasoned but not too much?! And when I call to tell you all you can do is offer me a lousy $10 off my next meal??! I guess!!!
Too much Cajun seasoning on everything, I like traditional fish salt and pepper, their fish is too spicy for me and quite a few other people I've talked to who also complained about how spicy everything is... we should have a choice on the seasoning we want on our fish ..... one size don't fit all ...... everyone doesn't like Cajun. ???
The food is excellent! I had catfish, shrimp, potato salad, red beans and rice, hushpuppies, dinner roll, and a drink. The food was fresh, seasoned well. The dinner was around $15 and it was enough for two meals, for me. I think the price is excellent for the amount of food. I plan on eating here more often. Also, there is the option to have the fish grilled instead of fried.
I love the food here don’t get me wrong but service and punctuality was not good. I was quoted 20 minute phone order. I came in at 25 minutes expecting it a little cold. Nope they hadn’t even started my order yet. After fifty minutes now I still haven’t got my order. The reason you call it in is to have it ready when I arrive? Right? The food is Amazing though
Delicious fried shrimp, catfish and filet of sole. Family said the filet of sole was a little salty. We'll request lightly seasoned next time. Very clean establishment, large order prepared timely on short notice and friendly staff were all bonuses.
who seems good and the fish that's on the shelf when you see it on the advertisement when you walk in it's very clean and they're very neat I rate this place five stars because it's clean and the soda machines and everything is very well sanitized and very clean so for that
The best fish, the staff is great. When you place an order, you don't have to wait forever. The flavor, the texture, so good. Everyone needs to taste this fish at Fishbone. I am addicted. Thanks Fishbone, whomever the owner is. Thank you for putting love in the food.
Good but the oysters are always too salty clean and nice staff ?
Had a chicken sandwich that was supreme. Don’t know why it’s not on the online menu, maybe it’s new. Also had that salmon salad more than once. 5 stars baby!
I usually like the fish and shrimp here but this time the fries anf shrimp were toooo salty. I tried ketchup to cover up the saltiness but didn't work. The fish tasted like it was fried in a Cajun batter, it was a bit spicy. Didn't enjoy my food this time.
