A true gem, never thought such an amazing restaurant was located here. The food is amazing portions are generous and prices are fair and affordable. Every dish feels homemade and it’s absolutely delicious. Lunch has a scheduled special each day and very affordable. The curry as well as the rice bowls are amazing. We also tried the curry udon and the grilled fish and everything was absolutely delicious. They also have tables for larger parties and service is very fast and friendly. A must try, you will love it
The place was filled with happy eaters as usual. The cooks smiling and taking care of business in which they do always to make your dish they way you like it!

Fairly big portions. Would definitely come back for more!Had 5 items:-Beef Tataki: Has at least 10 big slices!-Pork Belly Slices with Yuzu Sauce (a little similar to oyako don's topping)-Tofu Steak (with mushrooms): slightly too greasy but generous portion-Grilled Squid (legs are separate, but this is a big squid!)-Tempura Small: your typical 5-6 PC's with 2 shrimp. The batter doesn't seem as crispy as typical tempura I have in mind.
This is a Japanese restaurant that is a nostalgic 'go to' every time I come back to Gardena. The food is consistently delicious.

Azuma is always great. Excellent food and very good service. Outdoor dining in the back is great because of COVID and they have heaters to keep you warm. My ultimate dish, teriyaki beef and chicken combo. It's not on the menu but they'll make it. The beef is more like steak. Good quality so I always get medium rare. Top it off with some Asahi beer and you're good to go. Try it, you'll definitely like it.
